| The VHDL Cookbook.pdf | | 2008-07-06 09:01:50 | | The purpose of this book is to give you a quick introduction to VHDL. This is done by informally describing the facilities provided by the language, and using examples to illustrate them. This booklet does not fully describe every aspect of the language. For such fine details, you should consult the IEEE Standard VHDL Language Reference Manual. However, be warned: the standard is like a legal document, and is very difficult to read unless you are already familiar with the language. This booklet does cover enough of the language for substantial model writing. It assumes you know how to write computer programs using a conventional programming language such as Pascal, C or Ada. Contents: Introduction Describing Structure Describing Behaviour Discrete Event Time Model A Quick Example VHDL is Like a Programming Language Lexical Elements [ Comments ~ Identifiers ~ Numbers ~ Characters ~ Strings ~ Bit Strings ]Data Types and Objects [ Integer Types ~ Physical Types ~ Floating Point Types ~... | | By: Free Download Electronics,Computer,General eBooks | | |

| Cooking, Recipes and Cookbook Media Network Sites | | 2008-05-19 00:28:10 | | I have been promising my wife that I'd post her new media network sites. These sites something like a website or portal for media including news, videos, podcasts, stock photos, etc. related to a particular topic. In my wife's case, these sites are all cooking, cookbook or recipes-related sites. The idea is that if you enjoy a particular area of cooking or type of cookbook, you can bookmark one of these media networks as a one-stop shop. Instead of scouring YouTube or a news or recipe site for your particular area of desire (eg. cake recipes), you can bookmark one of these sites to get all your information in one place. They are pretty neat and continually get up-to-date new content and videos. I plan to let my customers know about these sites as I know several who fancy some of these areas of cooking.Let me know what you think. They are a still of course new, and a work in progress.CakeRecipesCentral.comChickenRecipesCentral.comDessertsCookbooks.comFrenchCookingNetwork.comItalianCooki... | | By: Cookbook Collecting Blog | | |

| | A Retro Cookbook. | | 2007-08-28 07:18:00 | | Today, August 28th … That intrepid Retro Cake cook, T.W. Barritt of Culinary Types has asked for some information on a cookbook in his possession. It is a 1930’s copy of The American Woman's Cookbook edited by Ruth Berolzheimer. Well, this one was an interesting challenge, T.W.! Ruth Berolzheimer died in 1965 after a long and illustrious career as a “cooking and child welfare expert” (according to her obituary). She was for years the director of the Culinary Arts Institute, and the editor/author of a number of books. The The American Woman's Cookbook was originally published in 1939 (or perhaps 1938?) by the directors of the College of Home Economics of Cornell University, under the auspices of the Delineator Institute – and it seems that it was descended from an earlier Delineator Cookbook. The Delineator Cookbook in turn was derived from a fashion magazine called The Delineator, which was originally produced in the 1870’s by the Butterick sewing pattern company.... | | By: The Old Foodie | | |
