El pasado viernes tuvo lugar la final de la octava edición de Proyecto Demo en la sala Joy Eslava de Madrid, con la presencia de Dunno (Barcelona), Gentle Music Men (Villanova i la Geltrú) y Loveless Face (Madrid), además de Single que actuaron como banda invitada, sustituyendo a los británicos The Rumble Strips, que cancelaron su actuación un día antes.
Los ganadores fueron los de Villanova i la Geltrú tras una reñidísima votación. Como premio, Gentle Music Men actuarán en la próxima edición del FIB Heineken, grabarán un videoclip y participarán en los conciertos de Radio 3 y La2. También, Gentle Music Men recibieron un pack de guitarra eléctrica, acústica y bajo acústico de la marca Epiphone. Loveless Face y Dunno, por su parte, pack de guitarra eléctrica y acústica.

Built on a Box2D Physics Engine, the game requires you to draw simple geometric shapes to solve its puzzles. The objects thus drawn, follow the basic laws of physics and shape the course of the game.
The game is a sequel to the original Crayon Physics game, which is available as a free download at the creator’s site.
Though the original game is, according to the game maker, "a quick and ugly prototype," I really had a ton of fun playing it.

La octava edición del concurso Proyecto Demo ya tiene finalistas. Dunno (Barcelona), Gentle Music Men (Badalona, Barcelona) y Loveless Face (Madrid) son los grupos que participarán en la gran final que tendrá lugar el próximo día 13 de marzo en la madrileña sala Joy-Eslava, y que contará con la actuación de los británicos The Rumble Strips como grupo invitado. Ya están a la venta las entradas para la final en TickTackTicket.
El primero de los grupos ha sido elegido por votación popular, imponiéndose a los sevillanos Tannhaüser. Gentle Music Men y Loveless Face han sido seleccionados por el jurado.
El ganador de Proyecto Demo 2008 actuará en la XIV Edición de FIB Heineken -17,18, 19 y 20 de julio- y los conciertos de Radio Nacional de España, Radio 3 y La 2. Además, y como novedad para 2008, rodará un video-clip.
