| 2008 Denver Broncos - Breaking Down The Roster #4 - Defensive End | | 2008-07-17 09:29:01 | | Dumervil will continue to crush opposing QB's in '08
A few days ago we took a look at the interior of the defensive line. We all know the problem the Broncos had stopping the run, and there has been plenty of talk about why. The Broncos have gone to great lengths to improve the interior, both on the line and at linebacker. Equally important to me is the ability to create a pass rush from the front four. As the New York Giants reminded us in Super Bowl XLII, it doesn't matter who the quarterback is, or how talented the offense is, if you can create constant pressure with your front 4 you are going to have a chance to win the game.
Let's look at the stats, shall we? Again, sack totals are not tied directly to the defensive end position, but I do believe an effective pass rush, generated by the front four, is directly related to a team's success. The D-End is a big part of that. When the Broncos were winning more games in a 3-year period than anyone ever('96-'98), they were consis | | By: Mile High Report
| | 2008 Denver Broncos - Breaking Down The Roster #3 - Offensive Line | | 2008-07-14 19:12:42 | | Nalen's health will be a huge question in '08
Under Mike Shanahan, the Denver Broncos have been known for a couple things. A strong running game and a solid, if a bit too quiet, offensive line. A group that has been synonymous with imposing their will, despite their lack of pure beef up front, the Broncos' O-Line was an area of the football team that fans could hang their hat on. Over the past several years, however, injuries and age have started to take their toll. Let's look at two different areas that are an indication of O-Line performance. Are these hardened rules when it comes to evaluating an O-Line? Of course not, but I like to keep it simple and let you guys and gals decide.
First, we'll look at sacks allowed, and where the team ranked from 2003 through 2007 --
Sacks Allowed --
2003 -- 25 Sacks -- #62004 -- 15 Sacks -- #32005 -- 23 Sacks -- #3
2006 -- 31 Sacks -- #132007 -- 32 Sacks -- #16

| | 2008 Denver Broncos - Breaking Down The Roster -- Defensive Tackle | | 2008-07-11 22:52:55 | | D-Rob will still have a chance to get to Brady
Last season the Broncos entered Training Camp with the beef necessary to make an impact in the AFC West. Or so we thought. Sam Adams, Jimmy Kennedy, Gerard Warren and others were going to stop the run, create havoc in the back field and make life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. Too bad Defensive Coordinator Jim Bates never got the message. Before the season started, Warren was so expendable the Broncos traded him to the Raiders and Kennedy was simply thrown on the trash heap for the like of Antwon Burton. It didn't take long to show those moves, and the entire defensive interior, were a complete train wreck.
Even now the stats are hard to look at. Only two teams - Oakland and Miami - gave up more yards on the ground than the Broncos in 2007. The 2282 yards allowed on the ground were nearly twice the amount given up by the Minnesota Vikings, who led the NFL in Rush defense(1185).&nb | | By: Mile High Report

| | The 2008 Denver Broncos - Breaking Down The Roster - Tight End | | 2008-07-09 21:56:53 | | The Broncs are still trying to replace Sharpe
The Broncos have always enjoyed strong Tight End play during the Mike Shanahan era. Sure, having a Hall of Fame player at the position for let's say, a decade, substantially increases productivity, but even without Shannon Sharpe the Broncos have been able to utilize their Tight End's in their offensive sets. A look, however, at the production coming from the position the past 5 seasons shows a disturbing trend downward -2002 - 61 rec. / 686 yds / 3 TDs2003 - 62 rec. / 770 yds / 8 TDs
2004 - 58 rec. / 770 yds / 3 TDs2005 - 58 rec. / 651 yds / 1 TD2006 - 43 rec. / 518 yds / 6 TDs
In the stats above, 2002 and 2003 were Sharpe's last two seasons as a Bronco. After he retired, the Broncos went to more of a platoon scenario at tight end. In 2004 it was Byron Chamberlain and Jeb Putzier. 2005 saw Putzier joined by Stephen Alexander. In 2006, incredibly, the Broncos had 4 different tight ends make catches, rooki | | By: Mile High Report
| | | More Sakic Panic At The Denver Post | | 2008-06-28 06:13:11 | |
Jim Armstrong adds to the collective doom and gloom at the Denver Post sports desk, posting an article suggesting that Joe Sakic, because he's had every opportunity to announce his return so far---and hasn't---will probably be gone.
Of course, what does he have to back up this assumption?
I don't have any inside information or informed sources.
Oh, so he's just speculating. Crap, we can do that, and without needing that pesky journalism degree.
He goes on:
Given Sakic's quiet nature, I suspect the Avs' front office doesn't know what he's going to do, either.
What I do know is this: He has had every chance to tell the world that he's going to return next season, but hasn't done it. That has a whole lot of people thinking he's going to walk away.

| | Rethinking life in Denver's far suburbs | | 2008-06-25 17:30:00 | | Across the nation, the realization is taking hold that rising energy prices are less a momentary blip than a change with lasting consequences. The shift to costlier fuel is threatening to slow the decades-old migration away from cities, while exacerbating the housing downturn by diminishing the appeal of larger homes set far from urban jobs. In Denver, housing prices in the urban core rose steadily from 2003 until late last year compared with previous years, before dipping nearly 5 percent in the last three months of last year, according to Economy.com. But house prices in the suburbs began falling earlier, in the middle of 2006, and then accelerated, dropping by 7 percent during the last three months of the year from a year earlier. In Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Minneapolis, homes beyond the urban core have been falling in value faster than those within, according to an analysis by Moody's Economy.com.

| | | Denver Broncos Team Camp Day 3 - News and Notes | | 2008-06-06 08:24:18 | |
After taking Wednesday off, the Broncos got right back to work on Thursday. As a sidenote, Mike Shanahan was a guest on Sirius NFL Radio yesterday talking about everything from Javon Walker/Travis Henry to Selvin Young to Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall. Looking to find some audio for ya but it was an interesting 10 or so minutes. Back to business.....
There are several articles out now talking about the Broncos drive for better character. Of course, these negative piles of journalistic pizzle are taking shots at the Broncos "focus", implying that character only comes into the equation when teams are losing. If you'd like to focus on the stuff going on off the field you can do that HERE and HERE. For me, I am going to focus on the field. The Broncos have cut bait with alot of locker room-cancer guys in the past few months and I support it, even if the the perception is the talent level of the team has dropped. Rod Smith makes an appearance, Ebenezar Ekuban is getting frustrated and #20 was barely off the back of Travis Henry before another player laid claim. All that and more in today's Team Camp update!
No one knows exactly what the future is for Rod Smith but one thing's for sure, it will involve helping the Denver Broncos in some way, shape or form. Smith showed up on the practice field yesterday to help out with the receivers and expressed his love for the Orange and Blue -
I love the Denver Broncos, I love the organization, so there ain’t nothing that I wouldn’t do to help. Whether it is on the field or off the field, anything I can do, even just sitting there and talking to some of the guys who are playing receiver now, just giving them little tips and stuff like that. I enjoy that because I know it is going to help them, therefore it helps the organization. There isn’t anything that I wouldn’t do to get us back to where I feel we belong.

| | Denver Broncos Team Camp Day 1 - News and Notes | | 2008-06-03 08:14:57 | |
The news from yesterday wasn't all about Travis Henry. The team was back on the practice field, this time for Team Camp.
Looks like the Broncos are testing the waters using John Lynch as a part-time player -
On nickel situations, Marlon McCree replaces John Lynch at safety.
How they use Lynch this season, along with the other safeties on the roster, will be a huge question throughout the summer
Ebenezar Ekuban was being used at DT on third down, similar to the way he was being used in 2006.
DeWayne Robertson participated in his first full practice as a member of the Broncos and came out of it none the worse for wear -
It felt good. I went full-go. We're getting a lot of good coaching out there from Bill (Johnson) and Jake (Burney). We've just got to take the coaching and keep progressing.
Robertson has a chronic knee condition and is coming back from off-season wrist surgery.

Some much to say, so little space! Actually, I have all the space I want, and it's a good thing. Yesterday seemed to be a busy day for guys getting injured(Dre Bly), guys feeling better(Jay Cutler) and guys that are simply off their rocker(Todd Sauerbrun).
We'll start with the Quarterback. Jay Cutler says he is completely back to normal, or at least what normal is now. The weight is back to normal, the conditioning is back to normal, and cutler is ready to go --
I feel fine, I feel like I did last year at camp. I've gotten everything back, I can definitely feel a difference from March. I've got all of my zip. I can make all the deep throws. It definitely feels good to do that again.
Culter's teammates are also glad to see the 'old Jay' back --
Brandon Stokely - It's almost like night and day between right now and the end of last year.
Patrick Ramsey - He's not a different person. Jay's Jay, but at the same time, he's easier to be around - and I don't mean that | | By: Mile High Report

| | Denver Broncos Quarterback Camp Day 5 - News and Notes | | 2008-05-28 06:52:58 | |
I hope you all had a great Holiday weekend. I know I did and I once again thank those of you that kept the site rolling along. The Broncos also enjoyed the weekend before getting back to it yesterday. Let's take a look at was was seen and heard on Day 5.
Travis Henry has been officially put on notice. The Broncos reached a tentative agreement with Free Agent RB Michael Pittman, which should become official today after the 32 year-old passes a physical. You can read more about it HERE and HERE. We'll get to Henry in one second. As for Pittman, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus for those keeping score at home, thinks he can get some things done for the Broncos -
There's a lot of ways Michael can help the Broncos, he can play fullback, halfback, he can catch the ball out of the backfield, return punts and return kicks. He's a versatile back.
Pittman, whose arms dwarf most mens' thighs in terms of pure girth, feels healthy and ready to go --

| | | Denver Broncos Quarterback Camp Week 1 Round Up | | 2008-05-23 07:56:59 | |
The first of two weeks in this year's Quarterback Camp are complete and while there isn't much to be learned from a bunch of guys in shorts and a t-shirt it sure was nice to be talking about football again.
There is some news to speak of. Tony Scheffler had his foot examined and the news turned out to be better than expected. The soreness in his foot is nothing but that, but the Coach will still tread lightly this early in workouts. We know there's not another break in there. You can see that on the X-rays. But there's something in there that keeps him quite sore, and, hopefully, with a couple weeks in the boot, he'll come back full speed and we don't aggravate the injury.
Nate Jackson, Scheffler's back-up, knows all too well how frustrated Scheff is with the chronic pain. "He feels like, 'What am I doing wrong for this to happen?' It's the same time as last year, the same play. But I feel for him. He's a friend of mine, and I don't like to see him dealing with this. He'll be | | By: Mile High Report
| | Denver Broncos Quarterback Camp Day 3 - News and Notes | | 2008-05-22 07:18:02 | |
3 days are in the books and the Broncos suffered their first significant injury, though it has lingered for a year now. Let's take a look at what(and who) went down yesterday --
Tony Scheffler will miss the next month of action due to recurring problems with his broken foot. It was during Quarterback Camp in 2007 that Scheffler initially broke the bone in his foot and played through pain all of last season.
There is concern that Scheff may have actually re-fractured the foot, though the Broncos are taking a wait-and-see approach. With Scheffler out of the lineup, old friend Nate Jackson will be counted on to take his place. With Daniel Graham proving last season that his strength is blocking, not running routes, the Broncos need a down-field threat from the Tight End position. Jackson signed a 1-year/$605,000 contract in March with a $425,000 signing bonus.

| | Denver Broncos Quarterback Camp Day 2 - News and Notes | | 2008-05-21 06:40:18 | |
Day 2 of Quarterback Camp didn't have the storylines of Day 1 , but that doesn't mean there's nothing to report. Let's take a look around to see what was seen and heard --
A big disappointment in 2007 was the defense. Jarvis Moss was disappointed as well. Not being on the field has left the Broncos' First Round pick in 2007 with something to prove -- I feel it, I've got a little chip on my shoulder. Being out, I'm ready to go play football. I'd be ready if it started tomorrow.
Of course, there have been alot of additions to the defense, something Moss sees as a benefit - That's what makes the team good, the competition among each other, when training camp hits, competition will definitely pick up. That's exactly what we need, guys fighting for position and getting better every single day.
The Head Coach surely sees a difference in Moss -- His conditioning is looking better, for him to come back his second year should be a positive. Usually those linemen learn a lot | | By: Mile High Report
| | Denver Broncos Quarterback Camp - Day 1 News and Notes | | 2008-05-20 07:46:09 | |
The Quest has officially begun. The players were on the field, except Travis Henry of course, and the work of turning around two seasons of simply average(16-16) football is at hand. Here's what was seen and heard on Day 1 of Quarterback Camp --
The biggest news of the day had to be the appearance of Brandon Marshall on the practice field. You can read about it HERE and HERE. Everyone seemed happy to see Marshall, a key component to the Broncos' success in 2008 -- Mike Shanahan was a bit surprised -
"He's doing everything a receiver would do except catch the ball. It's ahead of what I thought initially, I was told he could not work out until a month before we went to training camp. And we still thought we could get him in shape, ready to go for our first practice.
As for when Marshall might be able to catch a ball again, and his availability for Training Camp, Shanny had this to say --

Even though I love going out to eat I've noticed that I have to be even more careful of the choices I make or else I will feel awful afterward, even if the food is delicious. Breakfasts are an even greater challenge as the oils restaurants use to make eggs are often incredibly greasy and rancid.I am pleased to say that Mona's Restaurant in Denver offers a great, healthy, simple gourmet menu. | | Should I Undergo A Denver Lasik Eye Surgery Operation? | | 2008-05-07 06:34:00 | | Curiosity hounds would probably probe quickly upon reading the title here and ask: what is a Denver Lasik eye surgery operation anyway? Simply put, the Denver Lasik is a form of eyesight correction treatment that relies on the skills of an eye surgeon at manipulating the laser used so that after treatment the patient no longer needs to use contact lenses or eyeglasses to see clearly. To call it a Denver Lasik treatment only means that you undergo the Lasik laser eye surgery in a Denver clinic or by a Denver eye doctor. The Lasik in the term Denver Lasik is the acronym for the much longer name of the operation, which happens to be Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis. The Denver Lasik is classified as a form of refractive surgery done under the hands of an ophthalmologist (an eye doctor.) The advantage with a Denver Lasik is that the patient recovers much more quickly (compared to other eye treatment options). It is said that a Denver Lasik is also not as painful as other eye treatment | | By: LASIK.

| | | | Goin' Back To Denver | | 2008-04-28 10:21:36 | | So I took Sunday off to rest and forget about the Avalanche for a day, a recuperative break that was very much needed after their pathetic showing on Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed watching the Penguins beat the Rangers 2-0, and enjoyed the almost-constant debate about whether or not Sidney Crosby is, in fact, a diver. And then watching Chris Drury take an obvious dive on a weak holding call was icing on the cake. Nobody even mentioned what was so clear on the screen: he dropped to the ice for no reason other than to secure a power play for his team. And you know what? It was the right move, because his team wasn't getting the chances they needed and another power play was better than nothing. Is Chris Drury a bad hockey player? No, he's a great hockey player, and his dive was strategically very smart, if ultimately futile. If you believe a hockey game is as much a chess match as a battle of will and honor, then you probably agree with me. But | | By: Mile High Hockey | | |

Anthony Alridge (WR - Houston) RB/WR Don't tell Anthony that he is a dreaded 'tweener. Reportedly responded to not being drafted by swearing vengeance on every team in the league, except for the Broncos of course, who nabbed him right up. Alridge is an electrifying player, a north south one-cut runner with a massive chip on his shoulder and experience at multiple positions. Should compete at KR/PR, but needs to bulk up a little to really push either of our current "change-up" specialists
K Garrett Hartley (Oklahoma) Denver is taking a flyer that Hartley will show the consistency and range he had his first three years, before inexplicably losing both his accuracy and some of his power. Hits into the endzone at about a 33% rate, and is(was) exceptionally accurate inside of 50 yds. Has enough power to hit longer ones and has gotten better about getting lift into his kicks, b | | By: Mile High Report
| | 2008 NFL Draft -- Denver Selects FB, Peyton Hillis | | 2008-04-28 00:15:40 | |
The final pick in a nine pick draft. KC will get a lot of credit for getting a lot of solid picks in this draft, but what else is to be expected of six picks on day one? Whe it comes right down to it, this pick for Denver is the "Mike Shanahan Approved" stamp that packages up this draft neatly and sends it off to training camp.
Shanny wants nothing more than to score TDs.
He knows he has the most important ingredient for success, a young QB with limitless talent and a drive to be the best. At this point it is all about building around Cutler. From LT to insurance on Henry to arguably the best center in the draft to a dynamic player who can single-handedly improve the Broncos starting field position by leaps and bounds, the Broncos are closer right now to scoring in the red zone than they were in over 25 trips insde the 20 last year.
FB is a bit of a misnomer as recent new member hooper recently pointed out:
Part of Hillis's job will be to protect Cutler.

| | 2008 NFL Draft -- Denver Selects SS, Josh Barrett | | 2008-04-27 23:51:51 | |
I'm not much for giving grades, but I would say that so far the draft has stacked up in the A-B range. But this pick is the first that I really want to like but just can't get too enthusiastic about.
Its a shame too, because like HT I really like the safety position and would love to see Denver take it very seriously.
First off, this is the second pick that seems more suitable to a cover-2 type of defense. I suppose if Denver feels like the Jack Williams pick and this pick can outlive Champ and Bly's stay in Denver that they migh find more value instituting a cover-2 scheme. But this is a question for HT to address. I would just like to look at some of the things I like about Barrett and some of the things that bother me.
I like that he is a safety that can play well in the box, since I'm with Shanny that you need one safety up to stop the run (especailly with our great man corners) and that will free you up to back him off later and get after the QB once the | | By: Mile High Report
| | 2008 NFL Draft -- Denver Selects ILB, Spencer Larsen | | 2008-04-27 18:51:34 | |
The first thing I did when I got ready to do this write-up on Larsen, was to go backand read everything I had on Wake Forest C, Steve Justice.
Say what?
I did that because I like the Larsen pick. He is a great ST addition who will be an immediate upgrade over many of our veteran journeymen who currently under-occupy the positions, and unlike them, he will have something to prove. Plus, I like the idea that we can challenge K2 without making a huge vote of "no confidence" in him, as a Lofton pick may have done. We are paying him after all.
My reasoning for looking at Justice, is that of all the players still on the board who stood to be gone by the time denver selected again, he was the one who I had always assumed would be a solid choice for Denver. The question wasn't whether he should have been selected instead of Larsen, but whether we should have passed on K-Lic (if you guys want me to stop using this nick for him, you better suggest something fast, | | By: Mile High Report
| | 2008 NFL Draft -- Denver Selects DT, Carlton Powell | | 2008-04-27 17:52:59 | |
Regardless of how you rank our offseason needs, there is no doubt we had three critical issues to this teams success:
Score TDs in the redzone
Stop the run
Improve STs
As I peruse our 2008 draft class, I see just how deeply complex football is, as on the surface we seem to putting a lot of effort into #3 above, when I would probably rate it as a distant second to #2. But that is where the complexity lies. By addressing 3 you indirectly optimize 1 which in turn has an effect on 2 which improves 3 which...
I think you get the point.
And not to be overlooked in the drafting or non-drafting of a DT is the fundamentally flawed stature of this years DT class. Outside of Ellis and Dorsey (who I wil leave out of the discussion from here on out) there simply wasn't anyone that I felt the Bronco's absolutely must get. I have looked at more DTs this year than in any year of the draft, and I have extensie notes on 27 (!!!) DTs alone, making up almost a fifth | | By: Mile High Report
| | 2008 NFL Draft -- Denver Selects RB Ryan Torain | | 2008-04-27 17:11:16 | |
Denver's most recent late round RB selection seems to be getting a bit of a cold shoulder from the faithful.
For shame.
If you have learned anyhting about these Denver Broncos it is that they don't mess up the RB picks. I could very easily file this one away under success without pulling out my notes to corroborate what they are doing here, but I enjoy checking up on the Broncos, so it is my pleasure to introduce you to the newest 1000 yd rusher for the Broncos.
But first, let's get something out of the way. We all get a little too caught up in "this guy should go here" and "that guy should go there". Here is a mental exercise: take all of the currently active NFL players and throw them in a pot and then draw lots and draft to build a team (not a fantasy team here, guys. An actual team.) There will be a top fifty or so (around 3 rds) that everyone will be vying for. But after that, the players you want will differ drastically from the player | | By: Mile High Report

| | 2008 NFL Draft -- Denver Selects CB Jack Williams | | 2008-04-27 16:19:47 | |
You don't know Jack.
And it is fairly debatable about whether you want to or not.
First, let's get the obvious out of the way. The guy is too small. At 5' 9" (generously) he comes to a team that won't draft elite safety help if their lives depended on it, and is guaranteed to be mismatched 9 times out of 10 in one on one coverages. I love D-Will, but I remember him being burned a lot in one on one scenarios against precise passers. He was at his best when the opposing QB was screwing up, where his tenaciousness made teams pay for their mistakes.
Which is something you see in J-Will as well. Tenaciousness. Fire. Competitiveness. You WILL see him in the mix at KR/PR. You WILL see him fly down the field with some of the best timed speed in the draft. You WILL see his willingness to work and his great team attitude. You WILL see a combination of strength and speed that is rare in a CB. And you WILL see a playe | | By: Mile High Report
| | | 2008 NFL Draft - Denver Selects WR, Eddie Royal | | 2008-04-26 20:39:39 | |
This pick is primarily about one thing, and that is CHARACTER.
And even though Royal's skillset will probably make him a good choice to replace Stokely eventually in the slot, I will go out on a limb here and say that Royal could really be in line to replace a much different kind of receiver, with a much different style of play, but similar results: Rod Smith.
You see, Royal gets it, and what the Denver staff must have seen from him is the same kind of maturity that they have seen in guys like Smith, and Foxworth. More than anything, Denver just wants to get some players on this team that they can DEPEND on, and nothing is a better indicator of that than character.
As far as his style on the field, slot routes are ideal for Royal, and any kind of route that lets him look for the soft spot between the defenders. While he does have a tendency to round off his routes, he shows the quickness in and out of breaks, and he doesn't telegraph his motions, which are muc | | By: Mile High Report
| | Denver Broncos select Ryan Clady, OT | | 2008-04-26 16:03:18 | |
Clady is used to uphill battles.
Whether he faces more of a battle trying to win over a town desperate for playmakers in the draft, or in trying to secure a starting spot agains incumbent Tackles Ryan Harris and Erik Pears, remains to be seen.
But Denver fans should know, that Oline picks don't come any more exciting than this.
Clady has to be the most athletically gifted offensive lineman to come out of the draft in the past 5 years. Want to talk about ceilings? For Clady there is no ceiling: the sky is the limit. Much ado can be made about his football smarts, but one only has to see the series of games he strung together towards the end of 2007 to know that he CAN dominate: over the course of three games he allowed 0 stats of any kind to opposing lineman. You see, he doesn't take kindly to being told he can't get it done.
Clady brings an impressive football resume from Boise, including being a fulltime starter in a zoneblock system, 122 knockdo | | By: Mile High Report

| | | | Why Some Denver Homes Don´t Sell | | 2008-04-12 03:07:00 | | A couple reasons that cause´s the asking price to be too high are unrealistic expectations from the seller and an over enthusiastic listing agent. These reasons and many more can cause a house not to sell. Even in cases where an offer is made on an overpriced home, the hopes of the homeowner and buyer can be shattered when the buyer realizes he will have some problems financing the home. One way to determine if you have an overpriced home is by checking the prices of similar homes that are nearby. If those homes are selling for less than yours, you may have priced your house too high. In the end it is the buyer that sets the price of the home because they are shopping for the best deal and will typically pick a similar home that has the lower asking price.

It is only because of Edgar's amiable, easy going disposition that he is able to successfully blend with all the diverse personalities in the Colorado Aikido community and bring us all together each year to share in our similarities and learn from our differences. The Aikido Summit is a great place for younger Aikido students to experience a wide array of Aikido styles once they have attained their black belt and created a foundation from which to build. It is also an opportunity for more veteran black belts to get refocused on their own training and decide what aspects to develop on in the coming year. Having attended several previous Colorado Aikido Summits, this year's was in many ways very much the same as years past. Chicago has clearly soured on Felix Pie. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Pie included in the Brian Roberts deal with Baltimore.
It makes perfect sense to sour on a 23 year old outfielder who has hit the ball well at every level in the minor leagues. I’d assume this guy is full of shit, but Lou’s comments the last few days have made it sound this way. Is it true? I don’t know. Lou has a way of saying things in a confusing way and he has given the job to Pie, but the Cubs are looking for a right-handed bat to back-up Pie.
If that bat is Coco Crisp, who is a switch hitter, Pie will become trade bait. I don’t like that, but one can only hope that Pie is traded before you find his replacement, which would only further lower h | | By: Another Cubs Blog
