You can magnify or make smaller the web page you are on by using the Ctrl key. How do you do it? Easy, press down the Ctrl key & then spin the wheel of your mouse. You can see the web page becoming smaller as you spin the wheel to one direction & it becomes bigger as you spin the wheel to the opposite direction. I find it useful to take screenshots of web pages that are to big to fit the entire size of the screen. When I reduce the size by using the Ctrl plus scroll wheel technique, I am able to capture the entire contents of the web page. The trick works with Word too. | | By: internet executive log | | |

| Curved display hans on [Update 1] | | 2008-01-09 09:12:00 | | Engadget must have impressed Alienware's reps with their super-elite Crysis skills this evening, because it only took a little prodding for them to give up some more details on that awesome curved DLP display:It's definitely coming out in the second half of the year, but the model we've been seeing is just a late engineering prototype -- everything from the internals to the casing is probably going to change.There are four LED-backlit DLP projectors inside, which explains the lines in the image above, but the final version will show a seamless image.It's going to be an Alienware product, but it was developed by an ODM called Ostendotech.There's definitely some heavy-duty image-processing going on to make the images appear correctly -- the Ostendotech guy called it "the secret sauce" -- but most games will support it with very little effort, apparently.The ideal viewing position is directly in the middle at about two feet away. That's when the image seamlessly appears to wrap all the way around you, and it's just as sweet as you'd expect.Pricing information is still infuriatingly non-specific: the best we got was "more than a 17-inch flat panel and less than a Kia." Especially how it will automatically turn on the backlight keyboard. However, one part about it that I find kinda irritating is that it will automatically adjust the display's brightness. This causes problems if you bring your hand up to the Escape key while typing. Well, there's a way to turn off the automatic brightness dimming. To do this, go to System Preferences>Displays. Then, click on the "Automatically Adjust Display Brightness" checkbox to turn off this feature.

They allow for more exciting driving dynamics than pure front-wheel-drive, but also provide for increased fair weather traction over pure rear-wheel-drive. Acura revealed their all-wheel drive system dubbed Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD) in the 2005 RL. Since then, the system has been adapted to the MDX and RDX vehicles as well. It is a system with a name only a Japanese company could get away with, after all there is a Honda powered Formula 1 team named Super Best Friends. Acura is proud of their technological development. Their 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show booth featured a SH-AWD display front and center. We used the opportunity to snap some pictures of the complex unit in order to illustrate its unique features. It was perched on a stand in the Audi booth mated to a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, and was strategically displayed amongst the S6 and S8 sedans, which it powers. We remembered reading about this engine in the January 2007 issue of SAE's Automotive Engineering International, so we dug it out to give you a rundown of its specifications. The first thing that must be pointed out is that contrary to popular belief, this engine is entirely different from the V10 used by the Lamborghini Gallardo. The Lambo engine was designed for high RPMs, while the S6/S8 V10 was put together for high torque and fuel economy.The 5.2L V10 is built for two different outputs between the S6 and the S8 applications.
