| By celebrating my "second" retirement & closing down my Crescent “Oregon Rod Shop” business front this past Sunday ... I am cleansing the last of my “old” (1993 first retirement) companies out... and rearranging “how” and "what" I do as business for 2007, and beyond..."if I even decide to do anything" !!!!My “Oregon Rod & Race Shop” dropped the racing connotation after the "big burglary"... firstly by removing the trackside van from weekly races, then, when it physically moved from Redmond to Crescent in 2004, (simultaneous with also shutting down my Prineville “JEEPETE’z 4WD” shop); So, this decision to change business modes has been evolving for some long time now… and, the reasons are many !So, no more on-vehicle work, public showroom/store-front, no walk-ins, employees, or “facility” overhead…I will now concentrate on “custom building” projects only....My carburetion and supercharger rebuilding/restoration services will carry on... |
