| | 2D DRAWINGS FROM YOU 3D MODELS IN AUTOCAD | | 2008-07-09 16:37:00 | | Source: (www.cadtutor.net) Over the years, there have been various methods of creating 2D drawings from 3D models in AutoCAD. In the early days, we used export to DXB, a file format that is no longer supported. Then came the FLATTEN command. Now, there's a new command that's better than previous methods. The FLATSHOT command creates a 2D block object of any view that includes 3D solid objects. There are a number of options including show/hide obscured lines and independent control over the colour and linetype of foreground and obscured lines. Flatshot works by projecting the lines of your current view, not UCS, onto a plane. This is a little more versatile than Flatten and doesn't seem to skew the dimension of the object, which Flatten is notorious for. It also has the advantage of leaving the original object as is. The only downside is that it seems to have problems with perspective views. Parallel projection views work perfectly.... | | By: VISUARQ | | |

| | | Portrait Drawings of People | | 2007-09-06 11:03:38 | | The photo in this entry is Go Spider Go! Photographed and edited by me, Lynda Walldez.
If you've been around for a while you know how much I love drawing. I enjoy illustrating just about anything, although I'm not too good with drawing anything that takes much of my own imagination to create. I have gradually gotten back into the groove of drawing, using all kinds of media. My tool of choice is pencil though, the most versatile for me using a range between B and B8 with an H2 on the side. I am now offering portrait drawings for everyone to enjoy.
Below is an example of my drawing style. It is a portrait piece I did for my friend Jennie. The drawings I offer are drawn using professional Staedtler pencils on cream Strathmore 400 Series 80 lb. paper, no more than 8x10. I'm the kind of person that enjoys completing my drawings in one sitting, which is usually several hours. If you would like to see other art I have done you can go here, here, and here.
Each drawing is $5 including...... | | By: One Day At a Time | | |
