I think rumors are fun. I also think they get a pretty bit out a control in every sport. As we approach the trade deadline the MLB hot stove really heats up and the feeling among the Marlins is the Fish will be buyers and not sellers. Every Friday I will break down all the rumors floating around the net.
The A’s recently designated Milton Bradley for assignment and rumors are swirling that Billy Beane is currently working on a deal. Bradley remains a very useful center fielder when he’s able to play, so a number of teams should pursue him. At least at this moment, he is relatively healthy. The Marlins and Cardinals could have interest.
Problem child Elijah Dukes is either going to be given away for nothing or released from his current team the Devil Rays. Dukes has so much upside as a potential stud in this league if he could get his head straight. Dukes could be a centerpiece in centerfield for the next 5-10 years. Would the Fish bite?
