Eleanor McEvoy es una de las cantautoras más populares de Irlanda. Eleanor McEvoy alcanzó el estatus de estrella en Irlanda en 1992 con su canción "Only A Woman's Heart" que sirvió de inspiración para el título del álbum donde apareció, una antología llamada "A Woman's Heart".
El pasado año Eleanor McEvoy publicó "Out There", el tercer disco de su discografia independiente. Este album está escrito, arreglado, tocado y cantado por Eleanor, aunque ha tenido una pequeña ayuda del bateria Liam Bradley y también del músico Dave Rotheray (The Beautiful South).
