While the article is about rising to fame as an entertainer on YouTube, I think a lot of the advice can be adopted by companies wanting to embrace new media as part of their communications strategies.
To demonstrate, the rules of online engagement are similar to engraving your “YouTube Star fame”; be consistent, get in early, find a niche, work your network, and act like a pro. As for the “beauty sells” bit, hey, how many dead ugly account executives do you know? Seriously though, have a read.
