| | Face/Off | | 2007-10-18 02:30:35 | | Last night Greg and I watched Face/Off, a pretty decent movie. Yea I know the movie is 10 years old. But what can you watch when there’s nothing else on tv? The movie lasted from 9pm - 12am with commercials. By 11pm I was tired and ready for the movie to end. It was [...] | | By: Sophistishe.Org | | |
| | Friday Face-off : Round 7 | | 2007-06-15 16:36:00 | | Back by the popular demand (of one person) is the weekly(?) feature of the Friday Face-off. If you're new to the blog, here's the rules: a topic is picked, then me and Neb (occasional and sporadic contributor) each choose a song related to the topic and pit them against each other. You, the reader, get to vote on who wins and therefore who has the better musical taste. The score at the moment is 3-1 to me, woopwoop! This Friday's theme is the ultimate summer song so get out your suntan lotion, put on some flip-flops, give them tunes a listen, follow our reasoning and vote by adding a comment at the bottom of the page.I think Neb should go first todayFeeder - Just A DayThis was a surprisingly hard choice, really didn't want to pick a throwaway song, so Walking On Sunshine's out...relief there! This is probably cheating but wanted to pick a song that makes me think of Summer and can do so in the middle of winter. Just A Day can make November, pissing down at work feel like a festival. | YET ANOTHER FACE OFF | | 2006-08-22 09:17:00 | | THE AMBANI BROTHERS CONTINUE TO TAKE THEIR RIVALRY TO NEW LOWSThere was indeed a lot of bad blood between the Ambani brothers post the split. Largely though, the two seemed to be charting their own destinies. In the more recent past, however, the two seem to be crossing each other’s paths more oft en, and this is creating further complications in their relationship (or what’s left of it anyways!). After relentless altercations on issues like SEZs, airport and many others, the duo are again caught in a mêlée. This time, the bone of contention is the Navratana gas sector. On July 26, 2006, the Petroleum Ministry put a red cross to the gas supply agreement between Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and the Anil Ambani owned Reliance Natural Resources Limited (RNRL). The Ministry rejected RIL’s proposal to supply gas to RNRL at $2.34 per mBTU (million British thermal unit), which is less than half the market price of $4.7 per mBTU.So what does all this mean for RNR | | By: IIPM-World | | |
