I'll give you a couple of guidelines so just apply them and pick one. You'll probably end up dropping him a week or two into the season when a free-agent kicker starts to separate himself from the crowd. I do this every year and I always end up with a top-5 kicker anyway. Look at Nick Folk for the Cowboys last year. DO NOT carry more than 1 kicker unless you start more than 1 kicker. Carry a handcuff for your QB or RB or take a shot on some crucial backup players instead of wasting a roster spot on a kicker. Or you can play "Musical Kickers" and just pick up a new one every week based on match ups.
