La fiesta llevará por título "De marxa 2008" y será una doble propuesta para los jóvenes y adolescentes de la ciudad: música de calidad por un lado y una noche de diversión sin haber de recurrir al consumo de alcohol por otro.

In this case the portents were wonderful. A superb evening, gloriously balmy with flights of Atlantic swifts circling overhead in the dusk. Security and ticketing caused no problems, and the venue absolutely sparkled. It was also great to see Gerard Kurdjian back as artistic director.HRH Princess Lalla SalmaThe crowd, though smaller than previously, was made up of all the usual A list, B list and C list folks, dressed to the nines! After three announcements asking people to turn off their mobile phones, which most people heeded, HRH Princess Lalla Salma arrived to a very warm reception from the crowd and all was set to begin. Ya se conocen los cinco grupos seleccionados para la fase final del 1er Concurso de Maquetas Apple Pop. Los grupos seleccionados son: Pantano (Xixón), Pinball Wizards (Albacete), Just Like The Movies (Valencia), Oniria (Málaga) y The Seredados (Xixón). Los cinco finalistas actuarán en la fase final que tendrá lugar en Villaviciosa d’Asturies el próximo 21 de Junio, coincidiendo con el Día Europeo de la Música, donde deberán tocar media hora en directo. El premio para el ganador del concurso de maquetas será la grabación y edición de un disco, con la posibilidad de abrir la edición del Apple Pop Festival 2008 que se celebrará el próximo 26 de Julio en Villaviciosa.

El Festival Mundumira 2008 se celebrará los días 6, 7 y 8 de junio en Bergara, Gipuzkoa. Entre otras actividades el festival contará con música de diferentes lugares del mundo, teatro de calle, danza, exposiciones, actividades infantiles y deportivas, ferias de senderismo artesanía y gastronomía, campeonato de Boulder, además de un largo etc.

La actuación de los Derviches Danzantes del Cairo prevista para las 12h00 y las 20h00 no va a poder realizarse ya que no les han sido concedidos los visados necesarios para salir de Egipto. Esta actuación será reemplzada por la del grupo Dugukolo de perscusión y danza africana.
