| Sam Hubinette filming Gallardo drifting commercial for Lamborghini | | 2008-05-11 08:43:00 | | He usually spends his time behind the wheel of a Dodge Charger, but recently Samuel Hübinette made an exchange for something with a lower roofline. Lamborghini asked him to take a seat in a 2009 Gallardo for the filming of a European-market commercial set on the streets of Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Blowing tire smoke for the camera is nothing new to Sam since his blue Mopar-mobile has been featured in many a BF Goodrich tire commercial. Unlike the Charger though, the Gallardo isn't quite the towering elephant. It is also equipped with all wheel drive, a feature that requires a bit more driving finesse in order to pull off an extended slide. Look for the spot to hit YouTube sometime in the not too distant future. Also follow the link to see a few more of Sam's photos from filming. Thanks for the tip, Eric![Source: Samuel Hubinette Blog]... | | By: Car News | | |

| What's Been Happening While We Have Been Filming The Pilot For The "Living On The Edge" DVD/TV Reality Series | | 2007-08-19 19:01:29 | | These past few days have been filled with excitement for the people who live in the Reading area. Filming began on Thursday for the pilot of the DVD/TV reality show ‘Living on the Edge’. Throughout the weekend the crew filmed certain Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club members in their daily lives. The cameras followed them to their jobs, homes, and club functions. On Friday, July 26th the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club welcomed Mike Crowe from Johnson Controls in Milwaukee. Later that day White’s Harley-Davidson in Lebanon, PA lent a pair of 2007 motorcycles to Crowe and Ed Winterhalder, the author of “Out In Bad Standings", for the weekend. Lancaster NBC TV8 was there to catch Crowe riding away on his Harley rental.Friday evening, everyone enjoyed dinner at The Bar-B-Que Pit in Wernersville, PA, where a crowd gathered for all the excitement in hopes of being caught by the camera. Saturday morning, July 27th, the traffic was slow due to the pack of nearly one hundred Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club members on their motorcycles heading for White’s Harley-Davidson. When they arrived at White’s the pack was welcomed by a live band and a crowd of more than 500 people. Inside of White’s, Dennis Fritz, the author of “Journey to Justice” was greeting fans and signing books, and Harrisburg ABC TV27 was interviewing all of the celebrities involved in the event. On Saturday night the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club had a party at their clubhouse for area bikers at the Meadowbrook Country Club in Reading. On Sunday, July 28th the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club held a picnic at Blue Falls Grove for the Iraqi war veterans and their families. There was a live band and plenty of food as Reading ABC TV69 stopped by to capture the moment. Reading’s own, Frank 107.5 was there to show their appreciation for our veterans as well. As this weekend comes to a close, post production is anxious to begin. | Filming the cuisine of Fez | | 2007-05-14 11:33:00 | | More astute Medina watchers will have noticed a film crew working their way around the Medina. They would also have seen they were not filming all the normal tourist monuments and historic buildings - but rather the vegetable and spice souqs. The crew is making a program about the cuisine of Fez and concentrating on the cooking style of our friend Lahcen Beqqi (pictured below). For some time now Lahcen has been providing cooking lessons for tourists visiting Fez and showing them how to prepare both local and regional dishes. The film crew are being assisted by Karima from The View from Fez. Karima is translating and arranging local contacts for them and, according to the crew, they could not be happier with her enthusiasm and efficiency. Here is what previous visitors have said about Lahcen's cooking lessons:"Your cooking class was fantastic!
