Their EP, Sun Giant, was chosen by Pitchfork as some of the best new music, and I couldn't agree more so. Their untitled debut full length is due out June 3rd and has been called Ragged Wood around the blogosphere but according to a post on the band's MySpace, it's still untitled. Although the album's release is still three months away, an enterprising user of the internet can manage to find it, and your ears will thank you if you do. Fleet Foxes show a style that is both familiar and unique on both EP and LP, both startling and embracing in its smooth brilliance. They bring a splendid mix of folk, gospel type harmonizing, and rollicking indie alternative sounds to their sonic table.
