| Sally Hansen French Manicure Pen Kit | | 2008-08-15 12:13:00 | | I know French Manicures a bit passee and are mostly saved for formal events, but once in a while I can't resist the clean, neat look. Stars like Britney Spears and yes, uhm.. Heidi Montag (ahh.. the horror! I am referencing THESE "stars") have been sporting the look.I went out to find a kit, which would be easy to use with professional looking result.First one which stood out was the 5 minute Sally Hansen French Manicure Pen kit which comes with a manicure pen instead of the white polish you usually get.I hated it! Never even got much use out of it. I don't know if my pen was defective, but it seemed like the white color which came out of it was a bit too liquidy- resulting in a less then desired result.I'd much, MUCH rather stick with the traditional way of doing French Manicures. It came with nail guides, which finished quickly so I was pretty much screwed haha. I never would have believed this but a few weeks ago while doing some quick shopping at Walmart I decided to check out the cosmetic aisles. While looking up and down at everything, and if you know me, I do look at everything, haha, I spotted some nice looking french manicured acrylics by KISS. I kind of laughed because I for one would never buy something like this. Why, well maybe because I just think they are cheapy and tacky looking. Anyway, while scanning the rows of nails I happened to see the words Self Stick. I thought ya right, who is going to be that gullible to think these things work or even remotely resemble real nails. Then I gazed further down and my eyes caught the KISS Acrylic Custom Fit french manicured tips for toes! Yes glue on nails for toes!! Who would have thought huh?
