    my first trip to geylang

    I visited geylang for the 1st time. Derek, Eugene n me went around exploring for food. wanted to try the "Tian Ji Zhou" but the stall like not open de leh. so we ate "Ma la huo guo" and trust me, in singapore eat "ma la huo guo" is a very bad idea!we decided to walk around after eating and since we are here in geylang ,we walk around lo! we walk 1 round from Lorong 1 to Lorong 40. I say we cover the main road of geylang liao!and geez, in geylang I saw the different side of Singapore. 12am 1am still got people de. if it's like in sembawang. it'll b awfully quiet and you'll hardly see a single living soul. The pimps also very desperate la, keep asking people. really sad sia. I pity those prostitutes. If they had a choice, they also wun choose this profession de right. seriously dunno la, some are just lazy, dun wanna get a normal job that dun pay as well I guess. They dun wanna slog their whole life for 9 - 5 so they choose to be like that?'o well, nvm that. we taunt the whole night

    Dilah from 4PM (Malay Youth Literacy Association) gave me a free entry pass to the football match. Her organisation had been sponsored the tickets. When she called me and say it was a match between Geylang United Football Club and Liaoning Guangyuan, I immediately gave her an okay as it sounded interesting.Took the transport catered by 4PM and arrived at Bedok Stadium.My Game is Fair Play Marching inThe playersPenalty Shot in the first half Applaud the winners Very soon after the match kicked off, Geylang United incurred a penalty. Liaoning Guangyuan seized the opportunity and scored an early goal. The Geylang United "Eagles" had a great team of fan support. They cheered and sang for most part of the match. Sitting beside them, I felt the mood and rhythm. The Chinese team suffered quite a few injuries, in particular the only goalkeeper suffered leg injury.
