| Ever watched and marveled over the beautiful blown glass created by glass artists? Now you can try it yourself at the Wildfire Glass Studio in Seattle, Washington. For $20-$35, you can spend 15-20 minutes working with a professional glass artist. After fitting you with safety goggles, the artist collects a glob of molten glass on the tip of a long blowpipe and removes it from the 2,300-degree furnace.Next, you’ll roll the molten glass in metallic oxides in order to add the colors of your choice. Then, you’ll blow air through the tube and shape the hot material into a unique ornament. After your one-of-a-kind ornament has cooled, you can pick it up and take it home the next day.
