Online Presence started off as a project for me to share how to make money online. It was my first blogging initiative, but I’ve been online for years making money online from non-blogging activities. In the 10 months that the blog has been around, it has made me a fair share of money on its own.
I had started off hoping to get the blog into the Top 40K blogs by the end of the year. Why such a large number? Given the limited amount of time (less than 15-30 minutes everyday) that I spend on this blog, this would have been a good aim to have. What did I manage to achieve? I got to 49K. Not bad at all. Also, the blog is just shy of being in the Top 100K websites as per Alexa.
So what do I aim for in 2008? Here goes…
Get into the Top 10K blogs as per Technorati
Get into the Top 50K websites as per Alexa
Increase the daily unique visitors to this site to increase by at least 10x
Make at least 5x more money from this blog alone!

| Goals are Dreams With a Deadline | | 2007-12-31 08:19:00 | | On Mondays, I write about spiritual practices or guides that add to our general well-being. As a strong believer in the mind, body, and soul connection, I know that certain practices have to be continued to keep good mental, physical, and emotional health. For this last day of 2007, I am writing about G.O.D.--good orderly direction. Many times our inner conflict is caused by a battle between the ego and the soul. Both parts of us are necessary when brought together in harmony and peace. I also live with the belief that 95% of our stress is self-induced. Like everyone else, I hate being reminded that my energy is being used foolishly when I try to "change' someone else--a process doomed to failure. Direction must be preplanned. Goals are imperative for our direction. Goals are dreams with a deadline. Everything you want in life can be more quickly achieved with the use of goals. You mau want to write them down in a notebook and review them weekly. Your short-term goals should be connected to your long-term goals. You may want to use an action board. This can be a large bulletin board (I use 22x34 and I have 4 of them). My bulletin boards also have copies of paintings, nature, and the ocean along with my goals. You may use 3x5 cards on your bulletin board under 4-5 goal headings. Be sure to include the estimated deadline for each goal. You may use general headings: such as, goals-dreams-problems-solutions. You may choose to add post-it notes to your index cards. I use dressmakers’ pins which are long straight pins. I use these because they make smaller holes in my pictures and they work great on the bulletin. You may want to save the old index cards to watch your progress. By using multi-colored cards you can easily track your progress with a glance. If you have the room, you may choose to cover the entire wall with corkboard to have a large area for your planning.
