| Amnesty For Illegals... Again: I Told You This Wasn't Going Away | | 2008-12-04 12:16:00 | | As surely as I'm sitting here typing this, elements in Washington D.C. are once again clamoring for an Amnesty moratorium. Even 'Mr. Walking Foot in Mouth Disease' Harry Reid has managed to stammer out another call for Amnesty between his recurring gaffes. And Reid doesn't seem to believe there will be any fight whatsoever this time. Interesting. He said the same thing last Amnesty, when he was seen scooting away, tail tucked firmly between his legs. Unfortunately, he could actually be a little closer to correct this time around, as McCain has already had a publicized 'meeting' with Obama. So say hello to a newly legalized, nationalized, Americanized, low wage work force. More than happy to continue driving the unemployment rates in America, upwards. Especially among the Hispanic-American workforce. Yeah, Hispanics in America (Legal American Hispanics, that is) already have a fairly high unemployment rate as it is. Upwards of 9%, as compared to other ethnicity's. As it stands, there's a... | | By: Hoopy Frood Dude | | |
| | | Rain, Rain thanks for going away | | 2008-08-04 11:13:05 | | I was in the middle of a farm field playing with Gunner and listening to the race but managed to get home just in time for the rain delay. The last thing I wanted was for them to end the race at that time, but thankfully all went smoothly and the race resumed after a 40 minute red flag.I have to say I really enjoyed the race, but I really believe that it doesn't need to be THAT long. I would have really liked to see the race end at 400 or even less. One thing that not only myself but others are questioning is how could Junior go from 4th to 12th that fast? I mean Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and others ran out of gas but managed to do just fine. It almost seemed like Junior put on the brakes! I just don't get it. I should not whine about it because he did gain some valuable points and he's still second in the points standings. And his day could have turned out like Kyle Busch's day (I believe he finished 36th or 37th)which I am thankful for.Besides the length of the race, did you enjoy i... | | By: Unrestricted: My NASCAR Rants & Raves | | |

I won’t be posting for the next few days.
I want to take this opportunity to say happy anniversary to my best friend, who happens to be my wife. We have been together for so long that [...]... | | By: America's Watchtower
| | Jane Says She's Going Away To Spain | | 2007-08-26 19:11:00 | | Well, thankfully I didn't renew my subscription to Jane magazine. This week I received a postcard saying that Conde Nast has decided to discontinue publishing Jane, but that they think I will "love" the issues of Glamour that they will send to fulfill my subscription terms. Are they serious??? I mean, I may not have been as big of a Jane fan after Jane Pratt left as editor, but Glamour? Do the publishers take their readers to be insipid females whose main concern is how to lose ten pounds in 7 minutes in order to fit into that size 0 dress for that happening party at the new "it" club in the city? Please. If you think I'm exaggerating, take a look at the majority of topics for Glamour's blog page.NY Post naturally dished about this issue too.I guess I'll stick with my Stepford-Wife-ish subscription to Real Simple and the "Polish Bible": Consumer Reports. At least there I know I'll always have a handle on what the "classic" looks are in fashion and what ballpoint pen won't die in a... | | By: In Java, Literally... | | |

Request
Please do pray for Bosco’s return to God and me. And that he realise soon what he’s been doing so that he can abide by the laws of God and return for sunday masses again. He is the current choir member and we as a choir are missing him too. Please pray for his reconcilliation with God. And to mend our relationship again, as he had broken the marriage promise which he had made, and it really hurts. Please pray for his return to God and me.... | | By: Prayers Online
