| Movie Good Guys on Tuesday | | 2008-07-28 15:05:00 | | Since we did a round of "Movie Villains Trivia" last week and it was rather successful, I thought that why don't we do a round of trivia about movie good guys? So we will. This week's special category will be "Celluloid Heroes Trivia." (And I always did like that song by The Kinks.)It will also be just like last week's special category in that it will be worth double points. I will give you the name of a movie good guy (or gal), and you will tell me both the film it comes from and the actor or actress who played said good person, for two points apiece. We got there just as the bottom of the first got rolling. And we got there just in time. The Rocks batted around in the first and hung a five spot on Avalanche starter Brian Bogusevic, and that's all Wilimington would need, or get. Bogusevic only lasted four in the bitterly cold giving up six hits and give walks, only one of his five runs was earned.Aside from some fielding bobbles - Salem committed three errors, Wilmington just one - the game was excellent. The Avalanche stole three bases, laid down some excellent bunts, and were aggressive on the base paths. They fought back and scored three in the middle innings, but Just Barnes came in and locked down a four inning save giving up just one hit.The real news is that I came up with a great promotion for the Blue Rocks.
