Basically, when you search Google every day there are ads on the side which advertisers pay good money for. Luckily for the advertisers, they only have to pay when the ad is clicked. So why is this new method of advertising so important to YOU? Because, almost all companies pay "affiliates" (people who sell for them) for every sale they make. And these affiliates can be normal people just like you and me; anyone can sign up. So if you combine AdWords with selling as an affiliate, you can make huge amounts of money. The key is use your advertising as effectively and efficiently as possible. Some people onl

~ Benefits Of Earning Income Through Google AdWords And Eliminate Your Day Job Forever ~
    2008-05-26 23:59:00
Keyword AdsGoogle AdWords has diversified the extent of online marketing and advertising. They have become popular in recent times, since they offer a fast, easy, and inexpensive way of examining the ads and promos to be placed on the advertising sites. They allow aspirants to drive traffic to their respective sites. Here, aspirants have the option to check different phrases in different Google AdWords and select the one they feel is appropriate. These tests are very beneficial, since they add the number of clients to the individual's web site.Strong Benefits of Google AdWords:1. Cost:Google AdWords is cost-effective and grants flexibility in terms of deciding payment as CPC (Cost-Per-Click) or as CPM (Cost-Per-Impression). There are no constrains regarding minimum or maximum amounts. Thus, advertisers are free to decide the amount they will pay each person for visiting or clicking their ads. Marketers can also set maximum amount limits. Thus, if the amount limit on a particular day has

Google AdWords - High Minimum Bids Without Competition?
    2008-05-20 06:57:11
All my former keywords (bids of a few cents for each click, #1 position) were suddenly doomed "poor quality" and "not relevant". The minimum bid was raised to almost 90 cents though there is no competition. It's a complaint we hear most often from newbies to the Google AdWords advertising program. You should see right away that the amount you bid is not the amount you pay. Google AdWords uses a so-called second price auction model the effect of which is that while you may bid 90 cents the paid amount will probably be much less. The bid in this case indicates your seriousness, how much you *could* be paying. Of course, you can't know for sure before you accrue clicks. However, based on general experience we may state that the price will be really lower since you have few competitors. Try to get a good click-through-rate and the actual CPC will go on lowering down to $0.10 or so. It should be noted that some savvy advertisers are known to have bid around $100.00 and paid $0.01. Generally

The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords
    2008-05-10 06:43:27
What is AdWords?AdWords is Google's system for advertising on its site and its partner sites. Using AdWords you can create your own ads and bid to have them positioned in each page Google displays in its search results. In very competitive areas, the keywords you bid on can become very expensive. The way it is supposed to work, and actually does, is that the more you bid, the further towards the top your ad is placed on Google's search results page. If you choose to bid only the minimum, you might find yourself not ever even showing up until the searching party scrolls down several pages. The nice thing about AdWords is that, with enough money, you can always show up on the front page of any search using your keyword phrase.Unfortunately, according to Greg Jarboe, President and Co-Founder of SEO-PR and an expert in search engine optimization, 3 times more people will click on organic - or natural - Google results then will click on an Adword ad.That means that if you have even one result

    2008-05-06 03:45:01
Google AdWords has come a long way since its launch in 2000 -- gone are the days of only serving simple text ads on search results and various pages across the Internet. Over the years, we've introduced a number of creative formats for advertising online, and now you can even use your AdWords account to create campaigns that will reach customers when they aren't online. Here's a quick overview of all the AdWords ad types available:OnlineText ads: When displayed on Google, text ads are four lines of text: a title (25 characters), two lines of ad text (35 characters each), and a URL line. The format of text ads on partner sites may differ. For example, your ad text may appear on a single line, or it may look like the ads on this page.Image ads: Appearing on select content sites in the Google network, images ads are just that -- graphical AdWords ads. Unlike traditional online graphical ads, image ads can be matched to a page's content. See examples of image ads and placement options.Video

Tips To Succeed Using Google Adwords
    2008-04-13 01:53:54
Google Adwords is a highly well known and widely used online advertising program that helps an Internet Marketer to succeed within a short span of time. We take a look at some useful strategies to succeed while using Google Adwords.Google Adwords is the most popular and sophisticated pay-per-click programme for advertising on the internet. Unlike regular search engine listings, which are free listings according to "relevance", as defined by the particular search engine involved, Adwords are small text ads which usually appear to the right of the unpaid listings. Advertisers bid on specific "keywords", which determines where the ad is displayed. However, unlike other search engines, where placement is completely determined by the amount of the bid, Google uses a complex calculation which also takes into the account the popularity of the ad. Thus, an ad which gets clicked on a lot can end up in a better position than one with a higher bid. That's how Google rewards the ad for relevancy,

    Google Adwords Profit Strategy Basics
    2008-04-13 01:53:54
Google Adwords is a very effective form of internet marketing. When designed properly, you can gain access to a large segment of internet users. And, you can access a highly targeted market.Major components of Google Adwords are the ads and the keywords. Lets take the ads first, the ads are constructed with four lines. The first line is the title and contains a maximum of 25 characters. Usually the title contains a major keyword or key phrase. Always mention what you are offering in the title. The second line should mention benefits to the shopper; why he or she should buy from you rather than the other guy. Google gives you a maximum of 35 characters to highlight the benefits of your product or service. The third line can continue with some benefits but it should contain a call to action i.e.buy, sign up , etc. Again you have a maximum of 35 characters including spaces. The fourth line contains the website's URL and the last line contains the URL of your destination page or landing page.

    Going Broke on Google Adwords?
    2008-04-13 01:53:54
You've heard the stories. Click fraud has run rampant on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. This is evidenced by the numerous law suits that have been filed. One of the most notable cases occurred this year when Google settled their own click fraud case to the tune of 90 million dollars. In fact, Google and Yahoo have each settled a class action lawsuit filed by marketers.Click Fraud - What It Is?So, what is click fraud and how does it occur? Wikipedia provides us with a definition:"Click fraud occurs in pay per click online advertising when a person, automated script, or computer program imitates a legitimate user of a web browser clicking on an ad, for the purpose of generating an improper charge per click. Click fraud is the subject of some controversy and increasing litigation due to the advertising networks being a key beneficiary of the fraud whether they like it or not."However, I would like to simplify this definition. Click fraud is a crime, plain and simple. Cybercrime, however, is hard

    How to write Google Adwords
    2008-04-13 01:53:54
Google’s AdWords program is the dominate force in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising. With AdWords and most other PPC programs, you can get your ad displayed quickly and start generating traffic to your website almost immediately. But writing PPC ads can be tough. For one thing, you don’t have a lot of space, so every word has to be powerful and lead prospects to take the desired action – to click on your ad.PPC ads are sort of like the classified ads you see in the newspaper. They’re short and to the point. Your PPC ad needs to tell enough to generate a click – that’s it. That’s the whole function of your ad, just to get the click. Don’t try to sell in the ad – that’s the job of your website. The following guidelines, although directed at writing ads for Google’s AdWords, are applicable for most all PPC ads, such as Yahoo and others. With AdWords, you get a total of 4 lines of text:Title – 25 characters maximum (spaces count too)First Text Line – 35 characters maxi

What is the difference between Google Adwords and Google Adsense?
    2008-03-20 22:50:00
Advertisers that want to place ads on web sites will use Google Adwords in order to purchase advertising space on various web sites that display ads from Google Adsense.   Google Adsense is a program where publishers make space available on their web sites for ads.  Those ads are served up by Adwords.  Adsense is the typical way bloggers and other site owners make money with their sites.  Professional Internet Marketers consider it to be a starting point and they usually leave Adsense after a short period of time.  The primary issue is that very little control can be exercised as to what ads are shown in the ad zones made available to Adsense. This blog is not currently using Google Adsense.

Ten Tips for Affiliate Marketers Using Google AdWords
    2008-03-07 12:39:00
By: The LegendOne of the hottest ways to sell affiliate products is using Google AdWords. Follow these tips and strategies to maximize your earning potential.1. Seek out affiliate products that generate fifteen dollars or more in commission. Anything in the twenty-dollar range works well. Paying for clicks can add up quickly and when you do make a sell, it should be profitable.2. The vendor must present a high quality website with first-rate graphics. If the site appears to be unprofessional, any potential buyer will loose confidence and leave before the sell is made.3. Make it a requirement that the vendor website only displays one product or service on the referral page. Nothing kills a sell faster than having to many sells messages.4. The vendor needs to include outstanding sales copy. It's easy to realize the importance of this principle; words are what turn shoppers into buyers on the Internet.5. When evaluating a potential affiliate program ask yourself if this product or service

How to succeed with Google AdWords?
    2008-02-14 08:51:08
So, you've just built your first website and want to let people know that it exists. What to do next? Hmm, I don't really know for sure, but how about starting to spam everybody? If you were thinking this way, then I must tell you it's totally wrong! No one likes to receive an unsolicited email, where the sender promotes his products or services, which are of no interest to him or her. Believe me, I know how annoying it is to deal with more than 20 spam mails a day ( fortunately, this emails are sent to an address which I now rarely use it, so they don't clutter my main email address ). And I'm sure you wouldn't like this to happen to you, too. If so, then DO NOT SPAM!Instead, be more creative and think at some ways to promote your newly created website. Try banner advertising, search engine submission, directory submission or pay per click advertising. And because I've mentioned pay per click advertising, let's talk about Google AdWords a bit. Just in case you haven't heard about it by

Tips for Success With Google AdWords
    2008-01-10 08:04:34
AdWords typically appear to the right of the unpaid listings, and come in small text ads. The placement of the ad is determined by the keywords that the advertisers bid on. Google uses detailed calculations and ad popularity in order to determine the placement, which is a different approach than most other search engines. Therefore, when an ad is frequently clicked on, it can earn a better position than one that's received a higher bid. Relevancy is important to Google, so be sure to create ads that will be of high interest to others. There are several other advantages to advertising with Adwords. The ad will be displayed right away, so you don't have to wait for sites to appear in regular listings. Another advantage is that the ads can be extremely targeted. So, it can be made possible to only pay for clicks from those who have a genuine interest. Also, with Adwords you can run a number of ad campaigns at the same time. This allows you to test the results and be able to improve the quality of the ads on the fly. Adwords also lets you track the number of sales generated by a specific ad, which is called the conversation rate. This is a precise way to advance your marketing efforts. Here are the specifics of the ad: 4 lines to include: a title with less than 25 characters, two lines for the description (up to 35 characters each) and a line for your URL, which is also allowed 35 characters. The title is the key element in attracting attention. Be sure to have it include the keyword that you're targeting as well as eye-catching as possible to avoid getting lost in the competition. Sometimes your attention-getting title will get more clicks than other, less interesting ads, which are higher up on the page. Some will recommend putting the title in all caps as well as to include a price if possible. You want your description to include the major selling point of your product, as well as the right amount of information to deter customers who are unqualified. Be clear in wh

How to Use Google Adwords to Make Money
    2008-01-06 09:43:16
Many people do not know how to use Google Adwords to make money, even those who have been involved in internet marketing for a long period of time. They do not seem able to understand how to use the concept of advertising their website individual page by individual page, rather than using a global advertising strategy. After all, ‘global’ is the in word at the moment, isn’t it? Not where advertising online goes it isn’t! Online you have to be succinct, direct and offer no ambiguity or choice. If somebody wants to buy a slim Dyson DC 18, they don’t want led to a page offering a DC 15. The way to ensure that your prospects are led to the correct page for them is to be very specific in your adverts and destination URLs, and if you offer 10 variations of a product, offer a different advert specific to each of them, and a different destination URL where appropriate. However, even if you do all that and take all the other advice given to you, how do you know when you have done your best? At what point can you sit back convinced that you have done all that you could to reduce your PPC costs and maximized not only your CTR but also your CR? In fact, what are these and how can they help? The CTR is the ‘click through rate’, or percentage of visitors to the page on which your advert appears actually click on it. The CR is the ‘conversion rate’ or percentage of visitors to your website that buy something. Thus, if your CTR is 4% and your CR is 10% then you will get 4 sales from each 1000 people that visit the page on which your advert is displayed. It will also cost you 100 clicks for these 4 sales, information that can be used for you to set a maximum PPC that you can afford to pay.It is this type of analysis that will make a difference to whether you make money or not. If you don’t analyze your site statistics, then how can you possibly budget your advertising? However, it is not budgeting that this is about, it is about testing. You must measure your CTR fi

Get In To Affiliate Marketing With Google AdWords
    2008-01-02 07:27:53
The recent changes made to Adwords have put many affiliate marketers into jeopardy. Here is a brief overview of how things worked so we can understand the changes better.Using the previous set of rules, affiliate marketer posted advertisements on Adwords. These ads too the prospect to the merchant site, directly. This meant that the responsibility of making the sale depended not on the affiliate but on the merchant. The affiliate, in effect, was nothing more than an Internet traffic provider. This also meant that the affiliate website had not real recognition for the prospects because they would become customers of the merchant and bypass the affiliate on their return visits. However, the Super Affiliates among us did not function like this. They had their own personal websites that served as selling grounds. Here, prospects would be pre-sold a product by reading information, articles, reviews, and so on. There would be screen shots, videos, descriptions, even user discussions where relevant to let the prospect know everything about a product before deciding to purchase it. Such a website would offer some small free incentive in return for the prospect's email address. Finally, a thank you note would be the parting note before the user landed on the merchant website ready to make the purchase. By following this procedure, the affiliate/advertiser does not lose all track of the consumer once the latter has reached the merchant. The affiliate can use captured information to inform the consumer of future product releases, discount schemes, seasonal offers, and so on.Those affiliates already mimicking the Super Affiliate method are completely unaffected by the changes made to Adwords. Most of the changes will affect affiliates who were acting as traffic generators for merchant websites. The quickest way for these affiliates to fall in line with the new Adwords is to get their own website and make sure users land on that page rather than the merchants' website. If you d

    Secrets of Google Adwords
    2007-12-25 03:40:20
In the world of web advertising. None has generated more consumer response than by pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. The advantage of PPC advertising is its inherent flexibility. Traffic arrives instantly from actual users and performance is measured in real time.Currently, Google and Yahoo! are two giants that dominate the field. Google Adwords is a pay-per-click advertising engine that makes use of its largely popular search engine to encourage browsers to access client websites for a minimal fee. It currently has the largest distribution network compared to Yahoo! and the prices are relatively competitive with results. For the advertiser considering this form of marketing, using pay-per-click strategies can be a daunting task. But the advertiser just needs to keep in mind a few pointers before plunging headlong into the fray.1. Create ads with a high click-through rate. Click-through rate is the measure of relevancy in Google Adwords. The more people who enter your site means in theory that more people find your site’s content relevant to their search.2. Choose your keywords carefully. Keywords are the links to which browsers will be able to find your site. Bids are often placed for the most-used keywords and oftentimes the prices for these words escalate to unbelievable proportions. It would actually be better to take some time to step into the head of your target market and get a feel of what words they would put in the search engine to solve their problems. For example, for people trying to buy motor oil online they would usually enter “motor oil” into the search.A more creative bidder can use other keywords that are also relevant to the subject, which the browser is most likely to enter as well like, “lube change”, “overhaul”, or “tune up”. The possibilities can be endless with a little imagination and role playing. If you fine-tune the key phrases, your click-through rate will increase along with the relevancy of your site to the consumer

Google Adwords - How to Achieve Success Through Failure
    2007-12-23 08:52:44
If you are involved in Internet marketing to any degree, you have probably tried advertising through Google Adwords at one time or another. Adwords offers a number of advantages over other types of advertising - you get fast results, you get potentially huge exposure, and you can occasionally get your advertising for a reasonable price. The downsides can be serious, however; you can easily spend a fortune without it leading to any sales. For that reason, a lot of people have simply given up, convinced that it just isn't possible to make money using Google. Will Haimerl is just such a person. He claims to be a "Super Failure" and says that he has spent more than $100,000 trying to figure out how to make Adwords work profitably for him. A lot of people give up after spending just a few hundred dollars on Google advertising, so a six figure loss represents a lot of lessons from the "school of hard knocks." Will claims to have learned a lot from his experience, and he's now written a book

    MSN Displaying Google Adwords Ads
    2007-12-20 21:34:00
Years ago MSN stopped displaying Google AdWords ads in favor of their own PPC advertising platform, MSN Adcenter. So why, after all this time have they begun to display AdWords ads again? On Tuesday Jon Henshaw blogged an interesting find: A search for the phrase "colorations paint" brought up the standard MSN Adcenter ads at the top, a typical #1 & #2 listing for DiscountSchoolSupply, and a rather interesting third and fourth result. Sitting at #3 for this phrase appears to be Google. The URL indexed a link generated for DiscountSchoolSupply's Google AdWords account!Henshaw notes his assumption that this is most likely an unintentional bug, which I would have to agree with, but it could be a positive thing for those advertising with AdWords by purchasing the sponsored link, and finding your ad appearing in the natural SERPs, with the title www.Google.com. Many searchers may find your listing attractive and if your destination page is highly relevant to the search term this could generate some qualified attention and sales. Now that said, this is certainly not a common item, and I am sure it will be resolved quickly.I don't recommend clicking on the paid ad as I am sure the people at DiscountSchoolSupply do not want the extra charges to their Google account - but at least they have the top 4 results in MSN for the time being. Thanks for planetc1, for posting this article on Sphinn for me to find.

    Understanding Google Adwords
    2007-12-16 06:49:13
Google is one of the most popular things out there in the Internet. Google dominates the field of search engines. According to a recent study, Google is responsible for generating more than 70% of the clicks to web pages that are searched through search engines.Google has also devised a way to be able to put Internet marketing through a whole different level. Because of its market dominance, it has the capability to be able to set up a new pay-per-click system which aims at matching sellers and buyers. Google has developed what is not referred to as the Google Adwords. What is Google Adwords?Google Adwords is one of the most promising advertising opportunities that abound in the Internet arena. It is a pay-per-click system that advertises websites which have the highest bids for a certain search word or phrase. If one would look at the window of an Internet browser and search something on the Google search engine, he will notice a section containing “sponsored links” at the right-hand side of the screen. These are the Adwords advertisements. These are websites which pay to be shown whenever a certain phrase or word is searched through Google.BiddingBusiness bid for their preferred keywords when they use the Adwords system. For example, a business that is engaged in selling laptops may opt to bid for search phrases such as “make money” “online jobs” if they are applicable to their products.Bidding in the Google Adwords system to get the prime spots is primarily based on two factors: the click-thru-rate and the amount of the bid. The amount of the bid will depend on the bidder himself. Bids can go as low as a nickel per click up to fifty dollars per click. The bidder must know how much to spend because the system charges the bidding price whenever the website is clicked through the Adwords system. Another factor is the click-thru-rate, or the rate by which people are clicking the website. Usually, the top three sites that are shown on the Adwords screen are

Google, with its formidable array of services, has taken Internet marketing into a whole new level.Google is one a key player in the field of search engines. It dominates the market and generates 75% of the Internet’s search traffic. With this kind of power at hand, it has been able to develop a new system which aims to promote Internet marketing as a whole. What is Google Adwords? The Google Adwords system displays advertisements from different participants whenever a keyword or a key phrase is searched through the Google search engine. The participants places their bids on the different keywords and the highest bidders will be displayed on the right-hand corner of the Internet browser. The highest bidders can also be featured in Google’s affiliates such as AOL and netscape. This system provides optimum results for the price paid for the bid. The bidders are only charged for every click that is generated for their sites by Google. The participants also control their daily budget so as to avoid overspending. When the budget is exhausted for the day because the clicks which were generated exceeded the budget limit, the advertisement is automatically shut down by the system. This is indeed a very cost effective way of doing Internet marketing.Traffic and MarketingIn the world of Internet marketing, generating site traffic is the key component to success. Affiliate Marketing With Google Adwords
    2007-12-14 07:55:25
The quickest way to generate targeted traffic and start earning commissions with an affiliate marketing business is to use google adwords. One doesn't even need a website of their own to make money online using adwords. Traffic can be sent directly to an affiliate link.Even though this is the easiest way to make money online I recommend those who advertise on google send traffic to their own website first for a couple of reasons. First of all traffic sent to a information pre sell site tends to provide much higher sales conversions than just using direct affiliate links.Secondly google has recently tightened its quality scoring of websites making the cost per click skyrocket for many who were sending traffic to direct links. This has priced many affiliate marketers out of using adwords and is widely known as the "google slap".I've found a good way to improve quality scores and lower cost per click is to write topical blogs and send adwords traffic to them. The blogs can have the affi

Google AdWords Is Not Google AdSense
    2007-12-07 20:33:00
It is interesting to note just how common and daily vocabulary has changed with the times. Five years ago, if you asked someone to google up something, he might not understand what you mean even if he was familiar with the search engine of that name.Today, however, everyone knows what you mean. That can only point to Google’s popularity and how it has come to be identified with looking up information on the Web. One can only imagine what new words Google, and companies like it, will introduce to the vocabulary five years from now and what they could possibly mean.Even now, there are new terms that are making the rounds in everyday conversation, words that Google has invented. If you’re at all familiar with advertising on Google, then you’ve probably heard the terms AdWords and AdSense.Perhaps, though like most people, while you may be familiar with terms you may not know what they are actually referring to. One mistake that’s commonly being made nowadays is to interchange AdWords and AdSense, thinking that these two mean the same thing.Fundamentally, interchanging them is a mistake because the two words are referring to two different things albeit they are very closely related to each other. This article will help you understand the differences between them, how they work together, and perhaps more importantly, how it can help you earn a little more money on the side.AdWords and AdSense are part of Google’s advertising arm that is part of the company’s growing range of services. If you’ve used Google to look up information, then you’ve encountered AdWords. They are the text ads that appear on the results page of your search.AdWords works by matching a Google user with Google’s paying advertisers. But instead of just showing random ads that the user you may not be interested in (or worse, be irritated at) Google will present ads that have something to do with what the user is currently looking up.Take Sam, for example, who is looking up information

Learn Tricks Of The Google Adwords Keyword Tool
    2007-12-07 20:32:00
The Internet has brought on a lot of innovative ways to advertise a product or service. Since a lot of businesses nowadays have made the Internet as one of their major marketing channels, (if not the most important, they are always on the search for more effective ways to advertise their merchandise.Google AdWords is a fast and hassle-free way to purchase highly favorable cost-per-click or cost-per-cost per impression kind of advertising, and it caters to all kinds of budgets. Advertisements sponsored by AdWords are shown prominently with search engine results on Google, and also on sites included in the diverse Google network, such as Blogger and Earthlink. Ads that are tied up with Google can reach a wide range of audience because of the huge amount of searches done on the Google network. When one produces an AdWords advertisement, keywords will be chosen in which the ads will be shown, and a maximum amount for clicking the link will be assigned. One also has to specify the Google network sites in which the ad will appear. The operation saves businesses a lot of money since a merchant only pays when the ads are viewed, whether it gets clicked or not. Maximum payment is dispensed per thousand views. The ads made will appear immediately after the merchant submits the billing information required. The online account control center enables one to monitor the performance of the ads.The ads are strategically placed in order to maximize exposure to online users. They can be located alongside or at the top of search results, or in a page that appears when a user navigates to find a site directory. Ads are also displayed on Gmail, Google's own electronic mail service.Advertisements that are keyword-targeted are ranked by determining the number of times they were clicked, and also by the quality score. The quality score, on the other hand, is known by its clickthrough rate and other relevant factors, such as the importance of the text of the ad and historical keyword perfor

    Google Analytics and Google AdWords
    2007-12-07 20:31:00
Google provides a quick, effective and hassle-free way for merchants to advertise their products and services in the Internet through Google AdSense, a cost-per click and cost-per impression advertising service, where ads are displayed along search and content sites and search results done in the Google network. Merchants will be charged when online users click on the ads that are shown. Keywords are chosen in which the ads will appear, and the merchants will specify on how much they are willing to shell out for each click. There are various benefits that advertisers can get from utilizing Google AdWords. Unlike other online advertising channels, AdWords enables the advertiser to do away with deadlines and contracts. Google's kind of advertising does not ask prepayment and packages. It is by this method that merchants can manage their advertising campaigns with their preferred performance metrics. The service gives maximum exposure for advertisers due to the sheer number of visitors acquired by the various sites included in the Google network. Advertisements are displayed along search and content sites and products in audience comprising about 80% Internet users in the U.S. Ads appear beside search results or occupying a space in a results page a user navigates through to get to a site directory.Google's own electronic mail service, Gmail, also features the ads.To make the service more advantageous for advertisers, AdWords has integrated with Google Analytics. Google Analytics informs advertisers information such as the channels to which online visitors located their ads and the manner they react and interact with the site. The service enables merchants gain more visitors to their pages. Google Analytics also monitors the activities of merchants that are not related to AdWords, without any charge at all. With Analytics, one can create marketing campaigns that are target-centered and ROI-driven.The initial announcement that Google is offering this service alongside A

    Making Money with Google Adwords
    2007-12-07 20:30:00
When talking about the Internet as a legitimate place for trade and commerce, one can’t help but speculate the costs a company runs in advertising campaigns in hopes of building a viable online market. However, Google, Inc., the company behind the runaway success search engines, outdid itself when it launched its two-fold advertising programs, Google Adwords and Google Adsense. In essence, these two advertising programs allows for both advertisers and websites that host advertisements to make money with usage. What is Google Adwords?Google Adwords is the advertising program devised by Google on the basis of a Pay-Per-Click system. Under the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) system, an advertiser only pays for his or her ad placement when a searcher comes upon his or her ad and actually clicks on the link, regardless of sale or purchase. This means that the advertisement virtually runs continuously on various websites at the cost only of the number of people who visit their site! This removes the exorbitant fees other commercial websites would put upon an advertiser when he or she wishes to put up an ad there, even if he or she generates no traffic at all from that ad placement. How does Google Adwords work? What advertisers do when signing up for Google Adwords is also designing a textual advertisement of the product or service they are offering. They also submit a list of relevant keywords to the service or product they offer. These advertisements will appear on the right-hand side of a Google page. However, one may have guessed that the huge volume of businesses under various categories may indeed end up with similar keywords in mind for submission in Google Adwords. In determining which company gets which keywords, Google Adwords devised a bidding system for keywords alongside a content relevancy system. In the bidding system, advertisers bid and compete for advertisers. Auctioning off keywords usually start at around 5 cents, and it is through this system that various advertisers

3 Barriers To Success With Google Adwords
    2007-12-05 10:03:43
Google Adwords is a very important part of your advertising plan. The main reason for this is that since Google is the largest search engine on the planet it is really easy to get traffic very fast using it. However, there are unique challenges and in this article I would like to go through those barriers that might prevent you from achieving success with this method.1) Create separate advertising campaignsOne of the biggest problems that you will experience with your advertising campaigns is that if you do not create multiple campaigns grouping certain types of adverts together you will find that you have too many general adverts grouped together. Your low performing adverts will negatively impact your other campaigns and increase your cost per click. So it becomes very important to group a few related adverts together when testing to see which adverts work.2) Not filtering out negative keyword matchingIf you are targeting certain keywords it becomes very important to exclude keywords

Whether your a small local company or a world trader, You are just steps away from creating a ton of traffic to your website. First of all, let me just quickly explain what Google Adwords is - for those of you that don't know.Adwords is Googles version of an advertising campaign. Basically put, Google is allowing you to advertise on their website. This means that you will have access to some of the multi millions of visitors that are searching on Google on a daily basis. Which could mean thousand of hits to your website. Why Google AdWords? One of the main reason that Google AdWords is so popular is quite simply the way it is structured. How To Make Money With Google AdWords
    2007-11-18 07:22:24
It used to be, back in the "Good Old Days" of Internet Marketing, that just about anyone with a copy of the eBook GoogleCash could make some money with Google AdWords. You simply found a product to promote from ClickBank, created a couple of ads where you linked directly to the vendor's website (marking your ad (aff) to show it was an affiliate ad), created a list of relevant keywords and then just sat back, waiting for those commission checks to roll in.Ah yes, the "Good Old Days".Well, the "Good Old Days" are gone, it's true. Now Google limits the number of ads pointing to a specific website to only one. The person with the highest bid price gets the link. This makes it almost impossible to do any "direct linking" anymore. You no longer need to mark your ads showing that you are an affiliate but nowadays you almost always have to have your own landing page where you direct your traffic. In addition, with their recent update called the "Google Slap", Google has made it an absolute mu

Ebook Review - The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords
    2007-10-22 17:07:17
EBOOK DETAILSFile Size: 6.38mb Zipped, 9.86mb Unzipped.Number of Pages: 205Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)Subject: A guide to getting started with and profiting from Google Adwords.Other Information: Comes with multiple free bonuses including a crash course, a quick start guide and a transcript on how to profit with Google Adwords.ABOUT PERRY MARSHALL (AUTHOR OF THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS)Perry Marshall is a direct marketing expert. Perry is a published author, sells a number of products offering marketing advice and also offers a marketing and publicity service for a number of companies.ABOUT THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDSBefore I begin this review I want to let you know my experience with pay per click (PPC) advertising. I had tried PPC once before reading The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords, based on a recommendation in The Rich Jerk's ebook. However, The Rich Jerk does not cover PPC in a great level of detail and as a result I didn't really have a clue what I was doing. I simply deposited the money in the PPC account, entered all the keywords related to my website that I could think of from the top of my head, created an advert and ran the campaign. Although, I noticed increased traffic and increased Google Adsense earnings - I was losing money, I wasn't tracking my PPC traffic and I didn't know how to improve adverts or keywords. As you can see although I had experience of PPC before reading Perry's guide, I didn't know what I was doing and I would definitely consider myself an Adwords beginner. In Perry's words, The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords teaches you 'How to Beat the Learning Curve and Generate Instant Web Traffic with the World's Fastest Direct Marketing Machine'. In my own opinion, it is an extremely comprehensive guide to Google Adwords (weighing in at over 200 pages) which takes you from getting started with Adwords right through to mastering the Adwords system. The ebook is split into the seven broad chapters; 'Getting Started', 'Managing the Basics' and 'Making your Traffic Pay', 'Tools, Tips and Tricks', 'Your Questions Answered', 'Improving your World' and 'Further Help and Services.' But how well does Perry explain the complex Adwords system?Perry begins with 'Getting Started' which is broken down into the following subsections:- Google Adwords & The Art of War: Thill, Addiction, Obsession Fun!!- Why Google Adwords is So Important and Why You're Lost Without It!!- Building a Campaign from Scratch: A Step-by-Step Example!!- Anatomy of a Real Life PPC Campaign!!- Your "Getting Started" Ad Content Checklist!!- How to Advertise in Local Markets!!In this pretty self explanatory first chapter Perry explains how to get your first Adwords campaign up and running. By far my the most useful section of this chapter to me was 'Building a Campaign from Scratch: A Step-by-Step Example'. For the campaigns I have started this has been my blueprint. Screenshots are included every step of the way and I found it really easy to perform all the necessary research (something I didn't have a clue about beforehand) and then create my first Adwords adverts. When I want to create a campaign I just get this section on screen and then follow it - it really is as simple as that. I also found the 'Getting Started Ad Content Checklist' very useful as a summary to the chapter. My main criticism of this chapter is that Perry recommends certain tools & services that cost a fair amount of money - some of which are pretty much essential to running your Adwords campaign. Having purchased this ebook I wasn't expecting any additional expenditure apart from my Adwords fees so I was a little disappointed with this. However, in general this chapter does a great job and is responsible for improving my understanding of Adwords and getting my first adverts online.Read the rest of the article here.

Stop Google Adwords From Stealing Your Money
    2007-10-22 17:05:45
Losing lots of money on Google Adwords? Feel like you walked into a landmine and just looking for an answer to get your money back?Apply these 5 essential keys to make Google Adwords give you back your money, destroy those pay per click landmines and create your own Google Adwords goldmines.Key #1: Do Not Advertise on the Content NetworkIn your Google Adwords account make sure you turn the “content” network off.The content network puts your ad in front of too broad of a market. The content network includes Google pay per click ads appearing next to personal e-mail, blogs, and online publishers such as press release websites. The percentages of potential buyers in the content network are low. You are wasting your money in the content network.Key #2: Do Not Advertise on the Search NetworkTurn the “search” network settings off in your Google Adwords account. The search network includes small Google search engine partners and affiliates that can be compared to the quality of spam or junk mail. A small amount of potential buyers are looking for your product within this search network. The search network is filled with eternal information seekers; people who are not serious about buying but rather wishing to find something for nothing.Key #3: Put Quotes Around KeywordsPut quotation marks at the beginning and end of each keyword phrase. Quotation marks tell Google Adwords to only show your pay per click ads when the same exact phrase is searched. If you are selling the cure for cancer, one of your keyword phrases should be “cure for cancer.” When someone puts that exact phrase into the Google search engine your ad appears and is exactly targeted to the exact person who is searching that exact term. The better targeted the ad, the better chance you will make a sale.Read the rest of the article here.

    2007-10-22 17:04:37
Google AdWords is the world's most popular PPC advertising model. When creating a pay-per-click campaign, there are several very important considerations. Probably the most important is your budget. How much can you afford to spend? Another important consideration is how competitive is your market. A very competitive market will cost you a lot of money. Are you in a place financially where you can successfully break into the market? In some industries to be able to effectively compete, you will be forced to pay $5-$10 a click. Is that in your budget? You also need to consider the likelihood of your offer converting. Will you require tons of clicks in order to convert? Now if your offer will net $1000 per sale, you may be able to afford more clicks. But if it requires 200 clicks to make a sale on an item that will net you only $15, you may want to consider a new market. Another very important aspect of pay per click marketing is proper keyword research.Keyword research will make or break your campaign. Choose the right keywords and there is a chance that you will make a good return on your investment. Choose the wrong ones and you could lose big. There are some safeguards in place. You can set a daily budget and the search engines will pull your ad when you reach or go over it. There are a number of ways to conduct the proper research. There are a number of available keyword software packages that will allow you to plug-in a keyword and then provide you with hundreds of relevant keywords. If you would prefer not to pay for the privilege, you can use and download Good Keywords or use the overture search function. Now lets talk a bit about the big three pay-per-click search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN.Google requires a $5 initial deposit. The cost of subsequent clicks depends upon how much you bid. A minimum bid is $.10 with no maximum bids. You decide how much you want to pay per click. The only restraint is your budget.Yahoo requires an initial deposit of $50.00. Again, your costs are dependent upon how much you decide to bid on each keyword and your set monthly budget. Yahoo is probably the second best pay-per-click provider, behind Google.MSN requires an initial deposit of $5.00. You decide how much you want to pay per click, set a monthly budget and submit your ad.Pay per click advertising is a fast way to get your internet marketing campaigns off the ground. You simply prepare your ads, pay the initial deposit, set your budget and watch your ads go live. You must be careful to watch your campaigns closely. You need to determine very quickly whether or not your ads are working. If they are not, you may want to play around with your wording, or change your offer. If after 300 views you have not made a sale, you may want to reconsider the product you are promoting. When done correctly, pay-per-click advertising is an easy way to quickly make a profit. art.Samantha Jane writes articles on several subjects including internet marketing and building your own work at home business. Google Adwords - Is Your Online Marketing Profitable?
    2007-10-22 00:49:22
You’ve probably heard talk of not spending more than the click is worth. But that is only part of the profitability equation.By all means keep on tracking the profitability of your Google Ad campaign. But when that’s under control, you should start to compare it with all the other ways you get website visitors or online customers.Don’t lose sight of the fact that what you are after is paying customers, not just website browsers!I recently lost a new customer after only one month. I took over a campaign that they had been running themselves, and the first thing I did was to implement conversion tracking. I gave them a detailed report of what it was costing to acquire each customer at the end of my first month. This showed them that that it was costing more than twice as much to get a customer via Google Ads, than via natural search listings. So they stopped the Ad campaign – not great for me, but it was the right thing for them to do.Make sure you are not wasting your money, by measuring and comparing everything:• How profitable is each keyword or family of related keyword phrases?• How profitable is each of your text Ads?• How profitable is each page on your website where your visitors land? Some keywords may be more profitable in a Google Ad campaign than in natural searches and vice versa. The lifetime value of customers who receive your newsletter may be higher than that of customers who respond to a Google Ad – or vice versa. You can do a lot with Google’s conversion tracking tools on your AdWords campaign. But if you really want to find out the detail of what browsers do when they get to your website – how long do they stay on a particular page or the site; what page do they leave from; does one version of a sales page work better than another; etc – you will need to use a good web analytics package. There are several available, including Google Analytics which has the advantage of being free and fully integrated with Google AdWords. So measure everything and compare the performance of each of your online channels. Remember that you can’t look at one aspect of marketing your business in isolation and expect to get meaningful information.About the AuthorJayne Reddyhoff is the Adword Adviser and specialises in helping small and medium size businesses get their websites onto the first page of the Google search results. How to be successful with Google Adwords
    2007-10-21 22:51:08
Are you thinking of using Google Adwords for the first time or have you recently tried it and gave up because you didn’t get the results you had hoped for? There are many people who give up using Google Adwords because they are not getting the traffic they wanted or it’s costing them moremoney that they can afford or both! A lot of people think that to be successful with Google Adwords you either have to be lucky or practicing some black art. However the good news is that Google Adwords does work and you can make it work for you. By simply following the following steps, you will have a well performing Google Adwords campaign which will bring the right type of visitors to your website. Many advertisers do not follow these basic rules and they get thereadvertising all wrong. So just by making sure you follow these basic steps you will already be ahead of your competition. Understand the link between keywords, your ads and your website. This is the golden rule for Adwords. Google is all about relevancy.Google wants to be sure that when one of its customers searches for something that they find websites that are relevant to that search. So you need to make sure that your list of keywords in your adgroup work well with the ads you have set for that adgroup AND that the page you send visitors to when they click on you ad also has relevancy to the list of keywords. Keep this rule at the front of your mind when you set up your campaigns.Avoid Broad Searches When you set up your keywords for Google Adwords, the default setting is Broad Match. What this means is that Google will match your keywords against a search if your words are present in the search regardless of the order of the words, whether they appear together, are plurals, etc. As an example if you use the term used shoes as a broad match then the following searches in Google would match to your keywords used shoes used shoes shop used horse shoes shoes used in modern dance new and not used shoes As you can see

    2007-07-23 18:31:58
Each year, more and more companies use an adword campaign as their main medium when it comes to advertising over the Internet. An adword campaign is an easy, cheap yet effective way to market a company’s products and services. At the same time, it offers better results as the campaign is geared towards keyword density while aiming directly for a specific market. With regular print and broadcast advertising, you have to think of ways for the ad to directly hit your target market. With an adwords campaign, you do not have to spend much effort since the medium itself is hitting your audience right where you want them to be hit: which is by clicking on a direct link to your web site once a keyword is typed into a search engine. With popular search engines such as Google offering a fairly reasonable amount for keyword hits, both small and big companies are turning to adword campaigns for their advertising needs. The problem is, since adword campaigning has gained popularity, there lies a challe
