Everybody loves Easter Eggs, right? Well, Google Reader has a neat Easter Egg, which I found on Google Blogoscoped. Open Google Reader and type: up up down down left right left right b a Do you see it? If it weren’t so neat, I’d probably be annoyed. To turn the feature off, simply refresh the page or close and reopen [...]...

    2008-05-21 22:47:55
I was going to just mention Readair in my news roundup post but decided that the screencast by Molly McDonald of Demo Girl was much more eye catching. Readair is a desktop client for Google Reader. I need say no more as I will now leave it to Molly to explain it all. What an easy [...]...

    Google Reader, Keywords y SEO
    2007-10-27 12:59:00

    New Google Reader Stats
    2007-10-17 05:49:00
Maybe it is time for people to cough up some logs and see what is really happening with the delay between actual log parsing and on line statistics for items on the web server. For example my on line tracking will show 100 visitors while my direct log parsing system will show 300 visitors, consistently logging in 1/3rd on average all the visitors to the web site..It looks like feed burner and the new Google stats are looking at the same issue. In that the numbers are not going to be accurate, and not accurate depending on where you are in their system, and how they read/rank the blog or site you are working from. ...

    Chau Liferea, bienvenido Google Reader
    2007-09-07 20:27:00

Tips on Using Google Reader with Site Feeds.
    2007-09-01 14:31:04
As the World Wide Web exploded with millions of sites it became tedious to surf to each site especially in the age of Dial-Up. Hence Site Feeds were invented to push content to your desktop. Instead of using a browser to fetch each site content individually viewers subscribed to Posts Atom as in Blogger Blogs and read all the content in a Feed reader. Google Reader is an online feed reader or...

Google Reader and Offline News Reading
    2007-06-19 21:24:00
In the first week of June Google launched a program called "Google Gears" that expands the already impressive capabilities of Google Reader (Google's free news reader) to allow offline viewing. Here is a quote from Google's related blog posting:"Now, you can read these updates whether you're on or offline. It's easy to read today's financial news from the New York Times on the train, or catch up on your favorite blog while on a plane 35,000 ft. above the Atlantic.Once you've installed Google Gears, you can download your latest 2,000 items so they're available even when you don't have an Internet connection."I can't believe I missed this piece of news. I am an avid user of this program but I have always found it sad that I couldn't use it without an Internet connection... now we all can. Great work Google!!What is Google Gears?Google Gears is a new open source browser extension that allows developers to create web applications that also extend to offline use. Gears provid...
