This water all follows the Neosho River to Northeast Oklahoma. Miami, a small city on the river has been hit hard by floodwaters, the second worst flood only to the 1951 flood. The area also experienced a flood of just slight less magnitude in 1986. The waters of the Neosho River finally drain into Grand Lake. The lake is currently at 754.25' elevation.
