I took Salinda, Sadie, Jimmy, Leon and Wilson. Everyone got along very well and we had a great time.Salinda was home again all day today. And pleasant. | | Yesterday was another Great Day | | 2008-06-16 07:34:47 | | Yesterday proved to be a near-perfect day once again. It's so fun to have one of those now and again to help us remember what it is like. I had lots of time with my husband, spent time with some of my easier kids in a relaxed way, my not-so-easier two were off having fun and I didn't have to worry about them, I had time to blog a lot, saw a great movie, had a wonderful meal with my husband, got to be with my friends, spent quality time with God and others in worship... as far as reality in my world goes, it doesn't get much better than this!And then this morning I discovered more weight loss. You'll have to click over to find out how much, but when I start the day knowing I've lost again, it is hard for anyone to ruin my day.Although I know there are those who will attempt to do so.Apparently there is no bus after all for a couple of my kids for summer school, so I'm back at the 7:50 to 8:10 routine in the car, which, for the last three weeks of the year, I had come to absolutely ha... | | By: Never a Dull Moment | | |
| | A Great Day So Far | | 2008-05-31 16:13:56 | | The sun was shining brightly. The grass is green. I took Tony, Jimmy, Sadie and Ricardo up to the Cities for a soccer game. Everyone behaved appropriately (even Tony was better than usual) and the team played very well even though he lost. Ricardo is one tough player and we overheard several parents talking about his skill. Considering this is only his second season of competitive soccer (we had no team in our previous community) and only his 4th year playing on any formal team (he arrived from a Guatemalan orphanage 4 years ago) he does remarkably well.So we spent six hours together and it was all good. And it felt great.I took 89 pictures. The only way to get a good shot of him is to put the camera on continuous and follow him around the field. You can tell by these shots though that he is a determined, competitive player....And I’m a proud mom.... | | By: Never a Dull Moment | | |

| We had great day | | 2008-04-30 07:38:02 | | Today is Queensday in here and it was nice weather. It was a birthday of Queen Juliana (not me :D). We celebrate Queensday with a party, freemarket, etc. Everybody use orange t-shirt, orange cap, orange shoes, etc orange.Almost everyone go to Amsterdam to celebrate this Queensday. We went to Schagen, just small city not far from ours. With the train it was only around 15 minutes. It was very busy in the train when we went, because everyone want to go to Amsterdam. We had lots of fun in Schagen, I made lots of photos, later I will post in here. Now, I have to cook first :DMore information about Queensday in the Netherlands can you further read in here.
