Of course the country is going to grind to a halt tomorrow because the roads will be gridlocked, most of the railways are closed for engineering works and the airports won't be able to cope with the sheer numbers trying to get away, due to the increased security measures! So anyone with any sense will stay at home, put the TV on, their feet up and just chill. We won't even be able to get out into the garden it's going to be so cold and miserable. Typical British Easter Bank Holiday weather in fact :-) The fact that it's so early this year, the earliest since 1913 I think I heard someone say the other day, doesn't help either. So, I came across of a recipe for chocolate cake that I would like to share with you all. I got it from some magazine that I don't remember when I was at the doctor's office, waiting room.Flourless Chocolate CakeButter-flavored cooking spray5 egg whites4 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped3 Tbsp. unsweeeted cocoa1/2 cup ground walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts1/2 cup Splenda granular1/2 cup reduced-fat sour cream1/2 cup egg substitute1/2 tsp. vanilla extractPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9-inch spring form pan with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a bowl of electric mixer, beat egg whites on high until stiff glossy peaks form. Microwave chocolate in microwave-safe bowl on high for 1 or 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.Scrape into a mixing bowl. Questo è il mio modo per augurarvi una buona Pasqua. Che sia per voi una Pasqua ricca di risate e felicità, come quella calabrese di Franco Neri! Magari meno impegnativa a tavola, con qualche cipolla e melanzana in meno ed evitando il peperoncino di Soverato... Anche i giocatori del Milan fanno gli auguri, ma solo ai tifosi rossoneri. Io, dato il periodo, preferisco non rispondere ai loro auguri...
Io passerò i giorni di Pasqua insieme al mio Amore, per vivere la nostra prima Pasqua insieme. Speriamo nella clemenza del tempo che, in questi giorni, sembra essere un tantino pazzerello, magari per potercene andare a fare qualche giretto assieme; speriamo bene, anche se quello che più conta è stare insieme al mio Amore, con cui voglio condividere ogni attimo della mia vita... Ti Amo, vita mia, e non vedo di trascorrere insieme a te una Santa Pasqua all'insegna dell'amore...

I've had a couple of huge custom orders from my shop, kind of like swaps, and I should be doing that today. But, ya know, even God took a day off, and I would think he had more pressing things than I do. So I'm going to knit on a baby blanket for a while today then will decide if I want to work on the orders.Poshpoints has really pissed me off. I have 42 credits that I cannot log in to spend. I paid to ship those items out and one way or another, they're going to either let me spend them or they're going to pay me. Period. What a bunch of assholes.Anyway. I fired my last shrink, long story, but have a new one that's closer. He seems to think I may not be bipolar (!), but instead, adult ADHD with major depressive disorder. That would explain why I'm "manic" most of the time. So, we go back tomorrow to see if med changes are working and whatnot. Would be cool if I could get myself under control. I have some serious anger issues, and if I'm ADHD, controlling that might control the anger too. I know before Kat got on her meds for the ADHD she broke Mark's nose twice, so I would have to say she had some anger issues as well. The meds have helped her, so maybe there's hope for me yet.It's COLD here in Iowa. I don't know about global warming but I'm seriously wondering if the poles are switching their axis.
