En Septiembre Bob Lutz, vicepresidente de Hummer, declaraba que deben aumentar su cartera de productos para poder conseguir una cuota de mercado, por lo menos 2 o 3 más. Finalmente, Martin Walsh, General Manager de Hummer, ha confirmado que el H4 saldrá al mercado en 2010.
Este SUV será el más pequeño de la gama y estará basado en una plataforma de GM, que es lo que les permite reducir tanto el tamaño. The H3 Open-Top Concept that Hummer will showcase at the 2007 North American International Auto Show is a big one. It will feature the "lnfinivu" sliding fabric roof system.
