On 3rd of November, my husband, Kashif Lakhani, turned 29. To celebrate, we visited Alton Towers, which is a theme park in Alton. It was a three to 4 hour drive from Newcastle. I have always wanted to ride the roller coasters, and dangerous rides. Back in Pakistan, we have great rides but none as dangerous as the ones I saw in Alton Towers. We rode on Nemisis, Oblivion, Ripsaw and more. At the time of dusk however, some of the rides closed down. There were times when I thought my heart would stop, and I would promise myself that I wouldn't ride any other after this. Oblivion, the name of the ride that we first took, was a vertical ride. It falls into a black hole with smoke coming out of it (oblivion). After a 45 minute wait queue, it was finally our turn to ride.
