| Every once in a while I take the camera on our power walk...last Saturday was such a day as we walked along Main Road and the Sakonnet River:Boats in winter sleep on the Sakonnet River Ocean Inlet.The Sakonnet River Bridge over the Ocean Inlet. The bridge is in the process of being rebuilt, the new bridge is going up just a few steps south of it.Someones water access from across Main Road.Everlyn's Drive In that serves up great fried seafood -self serve at the picknick tables or being served in their charming little seaside garden. Very busy during the season. A Food Joint of a different generation, the Stone Bridge Restaurant. I hear they cook up seafood greek style there. Some food for the ducks and birds along the way.And fitness opportunities. ... |
