It cleans under the bed, under the couch and gets most places that are a real pain for me to get. If you run it daily you have to sweep much less often. I used to have to sweep every other day the entire house before i got the Roomba. I have this older model, and it does get stuck on socks, cat toys, and bathmats etc (the new models are supposed to be better about that), but he(Roomba we call him sparky) makes an alarm noise like 'uh oh' so you know to free him if you're home. My battery died after only a couple of years, and i have yet to procure a replacement but since it stopped being used Dust Buffalos (bigger than bunnies) have taken over my household, building up under couches and beds.
