| | Waiting, Jealousy and Despair | | 2008-05-13 01:24:13 | | Flu and Offer; It's been hell of a day to me today. I feel really terrible; my body's weak because of the flu, and I'm feeling angry and jealous for no reason. Actually, there's a reason behind all this. It's simple; I'm not good enough to do anything right like my plans supposed to be. I wanted things go well and exactly like I've planned, but it's not going like it should be. What's wrong with my plans? The calculations maybe? Yeah, the calculations on my side. You know, I'm still waiting for that offer, but JPA make others like me wait from 2nd week of May to the middle of May.Convincing and Running; They said and convinced me to go to the other place, which I reluctantly say yes, but instead they got a better offer, and left me there alone. I can't really blame them now, can I? I chose to go there on my own liberty of choosing. Yet, I can't help it, but to blame them since it was them who tried to manipulate my choice. | How to Handle Jealousy | | 2008-03-10 08:00:40 | | Sunday, March 9, 2008Everyone feels jealous from time to time. Jealousy is easy to deal with, once you understand what it's teaching you. Here are some pointers on working through your emotions and feelings of jealousy.Steps1. Understand the emotion. Jealousy is usually a combination of fear and anger; a fear of losing something, and anger that someone is "moving in on" something that you feel belongs only to you. Be aware of the distinction between jealousy and envy: Jealousy involves wanting to keep something which you already have, whereas envy involves wanting something that you don't have.2. If envy: do not envy. You have control over envy, so stop looking at what is not yours. Some people find it helpful to count their blessings or ask for help (see end section). If jealousy: Allow yourself to actually 'feel' the emotion in a healthy way. When you start feeling jealous, ask yourself: is it more fear based, or more anger based? Recognize which part of your body is being affected. | | By: Pure Thought | | |
