Today’s Rangers/Tigers game was due to start at 12:05 PM. These storms are moving relatively slowly at only 25 MPH, and while there will be a short break after this first band of storms moves through, the second band looks much more nasty.
Right now, I think we’re looking at a best case scenario of a 2:30 start, and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t get this game in. You also have to keep in mind that after the storms pass, it’ll take at least 10 to 15 minutes for the groundscrew to prepare the field for play.
