This week I'm featuring a song that is a favorite of many, by the legendary artist John Lennon. Although I don't agree with the message of this song, I absolutely love the melodies and vocals. John Lennon's voice is one of my favorites next to Imogen Heap's, Bono's, and Chris Martin's. What I enjoy about John Lennon's singing in this song is that it has a modest characteristic that I admire.
This song is special to me because it reminds me of a time in my life when I was beginning to explore the world and learn about who I am. The person that introduced me to this song was someone very dear to me. So every time I hear it, it reminds me of them. I am featuring this song in honor of my old friend, who had a birthday recently. I don't listen to this song often, just so the regard I have for it remains.
