| Jey Feely released; Dan Carpenter to be kicker | | 2008-08-12 10:16:21 | | Jey Feely released; Dan Carpenter to be kicker
I didn't see this one coming about a month ago. But Carpenter has looked sharp so far. Let's just hope that he can handle the big-time, pressure-filled situations that he might have to at some point in time.... | | By: The Phinsider
| | Pepper Knuckles: Ass Kicker & Eye Irritator | | 2008-05-01 17:00:33 | | Everyone knows that a man needs multiple types of knuckles to deal with multiple types of situations. You have blast knuckles that allow you to break a cheek bone and shock the shit out of the somone all at the same time. You have lexan knuckles that will slide through a metal detector with [...]... | | By: Where the Boggs are Always Cold | | |
| | Dolphins sign kicker Rayner | | 2008-03-11 17:12:31 | | Per the Sun-Sentinel: The Dolphins continue their work to improve the special teams, signing kicker Dave Rayner to a one-year contract on Tuesday according to his agent. Nobody's job can be considered safe.... | | By: The Phinsider | | |

| Vanderjagt Remains a Kicker Without a Team | | 2007-05-16 22:13:09 | | A long time ago, on a football field far, far away, there was a great kicker that was basically automatic. He was loved by fans of a team with a horseshoe everywhere, and when he trotted on a field, you knew that the kick would be good. Which is why this Sunday should have been no different. Sure his team was losing 21-18 in this divisional playoff tussle, but the game was at home, and this kicker never missed at home. He would make the 46-yard kick, send the game into OT, then eventually, his team would give him a shot to win it. Then something strange happened. After pointing over at the other teams bench after they called a timeout to “ice” him, he game-tying kick did something he never thought it would do. Sail wide right. The great kicker was never heard from again.
Okay, that story is not 100 percent true, but you get the point. The story is about former Colts and now unemployed NFL kicker Mike Vanderjagt, who today is still making zero money as he s... | | By: NFL GridIron Gab
