The Beijing Olympic torch relay will be started today (21st.April) 2:00pm from Dataran Merdeka until KLCC. The flame will also be carried to the top of Kuala Lumpur Tower before ending at KLCC. I have visited KLIA recently to accompany my cousins who was about to go back to Germany. According to KLIA it has been awarded as the World's Best Airport category 5-25 million passengers. The design of the building is futuristic despite built in 1998. It has 13 check-in platforms which are seperated into domestic and international. It also claims the tallest air control tower in the world if I am not mistaken. Unlike other airports the KLIA is rather spacious where it will not be too crowded with passengers. Passsengers actually find it easy to check in and walk around the airport. The management of the airport is also sastifying as safety and cleanliness are always the main concerns. Besides parking at the parking lot is made easy where you no longer need to take the card but chip token from the machine.
