But that hasn't stopped NBC from porting over the red-headed step-child of Top Gear segments to the imported version of the show. According to Jalopnik, during tomorrow's taping, B-listers C-listers D-listers Howie Mandel and Melanie B (former Spice Girl) will be piloting the U.S.'s own version of a reasonably-priced car – a Kia Rio – around the newly minted Top Gear test track. What can we expect? Nothing good, we thinks. Nor does it bode well that both pseudo-celebs are part of the NBC franchise. Depressed? We thought so. | | Passover Mandel Bread Recipe | | 2008-05-19 00:27:45 | | Passover Mandel BreadMy mother-in-law always makes a great meal for the Jewish Passover holiday. She makes a wonderful Mandel Bread (similar to Biscotti for those of you unfamiliar with Mandel Bread). Here is her recipe:Ingredients- 1 cup sugar- 1/2 cup oil- 3 eggs- 1 cup mazoh cake meal- 1 cup potato starch- 2 teaspoons orange juice- 1/2 cup chopped nuts- 1 teaspoon cinnamon- 1 teaspoon vanillaPreparationMix sugar, oil, eggs and add nuts.Add orange juice and dry ingredients.Chill 3 strips in regrigerator 2 hours and then make 3 rolls (about 2" thick).Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.Cook and slice and return to oven to brown (3-5 minutes).Cook in greased pan in oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-50 minutes.... | | By: Cookbook Collecting Blog | | |
