| | UK Ratings Board Rejects Manhunt 2, Again | | 2007-10-08 22:09:41 | | Despite making several tweaks and adjustments to their horror game, Rockstar’s Manhunt 2 is still banned in the United Kingdom, the UK ratings board confirmed today. David Cooke, director of the BBFC had this to say: “We recognise that the distributor has made changes to the game, but we do not consider that these go far enough to address our concerns about the original version. The impact of the revisions on the bleakness and callousness of tone, or the essential nature of the gameplay, is clearly insufficient.” Last month the game got an “M” rating in North America(from “AO - Adult Only”), meaning it was clear for release. European countries such as Holland, and France have allowed the game to be release, in its original form.
