Suzuki Maruti Alto to debut in Paris
    2008-08-10 09:32:00
Suzuki will bring its seventh-generation Alto to the Paris Motor Show this October, featuring stylistic and powertrain upgrades to compete with the best and brightest from the budget-oriented, compact class. Based on the A-Star concept introduced at last year's New Delhi Motor Show, the new model will be built in India by Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant, and will likely packing a 1.0-liter engine which should make Euro V emissions regulations a breeze to exceed. Expect the new Alto to find its largest market in India, along with limited sales throughout Europe. For an economy car, it's a pretty decent looker from what we can tell from the two shots Suzuki's released ahead of the show, and we expect it will find plenty of buyers looking for a relatively cheap way to get around. Check the press release after the break for more.Press Release:SUZUKI AT THE MONDIAL DE L'AUTOMOBILE IN PARIS WORLD PREMIERE FOR ALL-NEW GENERATION OF ALTO* New Alto combines low environmental impact with fun to us...

The two are reportedly working on products that will specifically appeal to the Indian market, and also sell in the global markets. When asked about his company’s commitment towards India, Gyaneshwar Sen, GM (Marketing), Honda SIEL, says, “Off course, I think our actions show our commitment towards India.”Explaining further, Sen adds that there are three factors that prove it. First, Honda has launched the latest global models in India. Second, the car company has increased its capacity from 65,000 to 100,000 units a year. In addition, once its new plant in Rajasthan is set up, the annual capacity will more than double immediately to 160,000 units, and later to 200,000 units. Third, Honda plans to launch a globally-sold premium compact model in India soon...

Maruti Suxuri SX4... Indeed MEN ARE BACK !!!
    2008-02-03 14:49:34
The roads were vacant, spaces aplenty for a battalion to rage war over an enemy. But I decided to do it differently. Pedals pressed to the metal, heart beating fast, eating space lightning quick, filling up each vacant space momentarily. The good roads are becoming ever so rare to find and even when you do, there are a thousand other people who suddenly seem to have found a new place to drive on. A splendid strip of tarmac and a splendid vehicle in hand, man can work wonders out. The man or should I say, the CAR of the moment takes every single obstacle with finesse and with a affirmation and authority that mid-sized sedans have forgotten how to. But the solution to all of a driver’s problems doesn’t end there, does it???? Well, that’s exactly what I’ve tried to figure out. And boy was I amazingly surprised. Which way????     Design and Ergonomics Well, ...
