| | Darticus Maximus Resultas Minimus | | 2007-05-24 16:22:47 | | Well, we played a match against ‘Da Crew’ darts team last night, and I played my aesthetic rear-end off… I was in the first doubles game and we won that 2 to 1 after a hiccup in the 2nd leg. I actually finished both our winning legs with the ‘double out.’ A good start… We lost the next doubles game, and following singles game. Ringer Earl kept us alive winning his singles, but then we lost the next.
My turn… As [my prototypal] luck would have it, I drew their best player [and current league leader in ton +’s] as my opponent. When playing him, it is all about YOUR game, because he will not usually make a mistake that you can capitalize on in a clinch. So as expected, I lost the first leg, even though I rose to the occasion and shot 2 ton +’s… I missed my double and he hit his immediately after… I could have sworn he did one of those ‘look-away’ shots too… Bastard…
