Also sorry I haven't been updating much but apart from being busy I have also been feeling a bit burnt out with kimkins and have been spending lots of time trying to help with the cause where I can. I haven't really known what to blog about.Anyway I wanted to share my Christmas present with you guys, Garry booked me in for a joy flight in an old warbird, I was packing it at first but it was really fun and left me wanting more :)Here is a pic of my parachute, you will notice there is padding down the bottom as the seats in the plane are just metal bucket seats:Here's a pic of me in the plane that the pilot took, it didn't turn out very good in that it it was very washed out/bright on me so I tried to fix it up a little but I don't know how to use photoshop so this will have to do lolThis is one of the plane just before we start to go down the runway:Here is a pic of Maya whom is a little scared of what was going on at first. She is watching whilst the pilot does an engine test before we take off:Now, when Maya does something good like a wee in the potty we always cheer her on saying "you did it, you did it!" same thing is we do something cool together, we cheer each other on. | merry christmas everybody. | | 2007-12-25 04:47:59 | | another great night. finally met up with fist of fury. we went to dinner at this place over at this chinese restaurant at the times square building which is located near sukhumvit soi 12. the chinese restaurant is named "jasmine" and can be reached straight from the asoke bts stop. fist ordered everything. talk about being extravagant. we had suckling pig, peking duck, a fish, and a number of other dishes. fist ordered so many plates of food, you couldn't put them all on the table at the same time.yes, I had fun. (FOOD! ..the second most important thing in life.)fist was in a really happy mood last night. so happy that he paid for the whole meal. imagine that. I asked him what prompt him to be so generous on christmas eve. his reply was that everyone in hong kong is having a good year. the property markets have increased about 50% in one year.I was really happy to hear fist is doing well. I hope he makes another fortune in the real estate market in hong kong next year so that he can come back and treat me to another great dinner like the one we had last night.ahhhhh. oooohhhhh.before I leave this piece on the jasmine restaurant.. let me say this. people I've eaten suckling pig all over the world. and I have to say, the suckling pig at this place was definitely one of the best I have ever eaten - bar none. I know it is saying a lot. but it is true. check it out.times square building, sukhumvit soi 12, 4th floor. off asoke BTS.continuing, fist got in from hong kong with some of his family early in the morning christmas eve. they are off to hua hin for a couple of days. we may meet up to hang out again when he gets back.after the dinner, fist and I parted. they had some appointment somewhere. I went over to the parking lot after the dinner. full, and happy. many lounge lizards out and about.
