"He realised he had a problem and was anxious to deal with it immediately," the actor's rep told the New York Post, adding that he "hopes that the media will allow him the privacy to deal properly with his treatment". Metcalfe entered an undisclosed rehab facility on Monday in order to deal with "alcohol issues". News of the 28-year-old entering a facility comes after reports of hard partying over the weekend. According to E! Online's Ted Casablanca, Metcalfe hit up no fewer than four clubs in Los Angeles on Saturday night. A number of weekend reports surfaced that the actor's drunken behaviour at L.A. hotel Mondrian resulted in him being banned from the property after yelling at the doorman of Skybar. A hotel rep reluctantly addressed the rumour, saying that while Metcalfe had not been officially banned, he was refused a hotel room Saturday night.
