La febbre del remake non conosce proprio confini: come può venire in mente di rifare Metropolis, film che è oramai più storia, archeologia, immaginario collettivo dell'arte cinematografica, che opera pura e semplice?
All'insana impresa pare stia pensando tale Thomas Schuehly, già produttore di Alexander, che ha acquisito i diritti per il remake della pellicola di Fritz Lang (datata - lo ricordiamo - 1927, un tempo in cui il cinema era ancora muto).
Sul progetto non c'è ancora nulla di fissato, tantomeno il nome del folle che deciderà di dirigerlo, anche se la produzione assicura che in ballo ci sono diversi autori di primo piano (tutti così disperati a Hollywood?) e che la decisione finale verrà presa tra qualche mese. | | By: Binario Loco | | |
