| The Great Mouse Giveaway | | 2007-12-21 02:18:00 | | It's craft night at the homestead. My artsy sisters from Manhattan brought all kinds of projects for us to work on. I chose the mouse ornament project. Before giving me the materials, my sister Annie told me I had to read a story first to understand the project I was about to begin. It was called "Mother's Christmas Mouse" from the October Ensign magazine. If you don't want to read it, I'll summarize. A woman's rheumatic mother made her a Christmas ornament but it was really crazy looking because the mother wasn't able to use her hands very well. The point was that even though the ornament was ugly, she knew her daughter loved her enough to appreciate the effort and treasure the ornament.So I just HAD to make an ugly mouse ornament. My sister had bought all the supplies required to duplicate the article's ugly mouse and I set to work. My first attempt was indeed ugly, but I was sure I could do worse. My second mouse made my siblings gasp in shock and by the third mouse, I was certain I had ugly down pat. I ended up making 20 mice tonight and so in the spirit of giving, I'd like to share some with you deserving readers.I'm giving away four of these misunderstood mice with the hope that those who receive them will look past their unsightliness and into their nutty hearts of gold. | Frustrazioni col Mouse | | 2007-09-09 20:33:26 | | Ho il mouse che sta per terminare la sua esistenza, intanto sta sera ho rischiato di spaccare il lampadario perchè, sempre grazie alla morte imminente del mouse, non posso usare illustrator, portare avanti due progetti per l' università e nemmeno navigare tranquillamente senza che lui, il topo bionico, non si blocchi sul desktop.
