| MSNBC= Too Little, Too Late | | 2008-05-29 12:54:00 | | I cannot tell you how thankful I am that I read MSNBC for my news. Their ability to not only tell the news, but to predict it is astounding and has made me quite the legend of news analysis amongst my friends. I realize that I am telling my secrets to the world right now, but none of my friends read this blog so I feel safe sharing it with you, but please keep it under your hat and please buy a hat to keep it under if you are currently hatless. I am sure a haberdashery is somewhere in your locale and, if not, then the internets are great for such searches. So anyway at 10:33 a.m. ET, Thurs., May. 29, 2008, MSNBC updated their page with a story entitled “In Miami, Spanish becoming primary language.” I am shocked. I live in Miami and have not noticed it is becoming the primary language. I always kind of thought it was the primary language. I know I have not spoken to my neighbors in the seven years I have owned my home because not a single one of them speak English. Neither do | | By: The Kanrei Home for Wayward Lemmings | | |

| The Peril Of P-MSNBC For Obama. . . | | 2008-05-27 19:14:28 | | It is clear the Obama people are reveling in the out and out cheer leading they are getting from the inmates at P-MSNBC. The liberal magazine The New Republic had a rare moment of sobriety in illustrating how this has already harmed Obama and may very well come back to haunt him.
Dangerously, too, MSNBC's coverage can lead to a perverse sort of cognitive dissonance in viewers like, well, me....

| Ed Rendell Blasts MSNBC and Keith Olbermann | | 2008-04-06 15:47:59 | | Ed Rendell, Governor of Pennsylvania and former head of the Democratic National Committee blasted MSNBC and Keith Olbermann for being political hacks. He argued that Olbermann should be in Obama's payrool.
It is hilarious when Democrats like Hillary Clinton finally learn what it would be like to run as a Republican. They all act surprised when the liberal media teams up against them, as if...

| MSNBC Cuts Out Mike Huckabee's Concession Speech | | 2008-03-04 23:50:59 | | I was just watching Mike Huckabee on Fox News giving a very moving concession speech. With great class, he appeared to endorse John McCain. Then it hit me that I should check MSNBC to see if they were commenting on Huckabee, because Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews hate Huckabee's guts.
Well, when I changed the channel, it turns out that MSNBC decided to let Keith Olbermann ramble on about...

Old Jack may have something with that juicer.Sorry, I Know the story is old news.I couldn't resist commenting on the who | | By: Tales of Swimming Pool Man | | |

| MSNBC Nevada Democratic Debate (January 15, 2008) | | 2008-01-16 23:40:31 | | On Tuesday, January 15, 2008, the top 3 Democratic candidates debated the issues in Nevada on MSNBC. Dennis Kucinich was not allowed to participate by MSNBC and that ruling was upheld when it was challenged in court. A judge in a lower court had threatened to block the MSNBC broadcast if Kucinich was not allowed to participate but the Nevada Supreme Court reversed that decision 1 hour before the debate went on air. The debate went on without Kucinich and the tone was friendly throughout the debate. Tim Russert, Natalie Morales, and Brian Williams were the moderators of the round-table style debate. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were asked about the issue of race and the battle that emerged between the two parties over the past week. The candidates stayed true to their word and honored the truce on the issue. “I think that what’s most important is that Senator Obama and I agree completely that neither race nor gender should be a part of this campaign,” Senator Clinton said when asked how things had gotten to where they are now. Obama stated that he agreed with what Senator Clinton said and that he believed all the candidates sitting there believe in racial equality. Brian Williams asked Obama what I thought was an important question during Tuesdays debate. Obama was asked about the false rumors that have been going around on the internet that he is a Muslim, that he was raised a Muslim, and that he does not pledge allegiance to our flag because of his beliefs. Obama said that he was a Christian and that he was sworn in with a Bible, not the Koran. Obama also said that the voters are smart enough to distinguish between the lies and the truth when it comes to these rumors. These emails have been going around for months and are still circulating across the country. I have been asked several times by people that do not follow politics as closely as I do, if they are in fact true. I think this is something | | By: The Mersman Political Blog | | |

| John Edwards Buys Ad to Rebut Bush on Iraq on MSNBC: MSNBC Still Refuses to Run Pro-War Ads | | 2007-09-13 20:13:28 | | While MSNBC refuses to run pro-war advertisements, they have provided John Edwards a two-minute advertising slot to bash President Bush and rebut the War in Iraq. Yes, John Edwards has purchased two minutes of air time on MSNBC, scheduled to air after Bush's 15-minute televised speech from the White House at 9 p.m. EDT. This is nothing but a pathetic political ploy from a man who voted for the War.Embarrassingly, John Edwards has already taped the rebuttal, making this “rebuttal” an oxymoron. Notably, rebuttals are supposed to be responses to what someone else says, not something that is planned ahead of time. Moreover, there is no doubt that Edwards will have consultants write his entire script and everything will be choreographed. His hair will look impeccable.Nevertheless, I think it would be hilarious if George Bush got on television and started talking about something other than the Iraq War, like the weather or how happy he is that his daughter is getting married. | MSNBC and CNBC Refuse to Run Pro-War Ads | | 2007-08-30 04:39:48 | | Recently, we wrote about a video commercial produced by “Freedom’s Watch,” a nonprofit group that supports the Iraq War. Freedom's Watch has placed other ads on Fox and CNN, but CNBC and MSNBC have refused to run the ads. Hypocritically, CNBC and MSNBC have run issue ads on other controversial topics. Moreover, they allowed Keith Olbermann to push his liberal nonsense in lieu of the real news or pre-game NFL coverage on NBC before a Sunday Night Football game.Consequently, Freedom's Watch has written to CNBC and MSNBC to protest their decision; here is the text of that letter (source):John KellySenior Vice-President of NBC News Network Sales30 Rockefeller Plaza12th FloorNew York, NY 10112Dear Mr. Kelly,We understand that MSNBC and CNBC (the “Networks”) are refusing to sell advertising time to Freedom’s Watch (“FW”) to air a series of educational advertisements. | Fuel moves the nation - MSNBC stops two party system | | 2007-05-06 02:54:41 | | Just saw a financial program explaining how higher gas prices won’t affect the economy. This, from a group of stock brokers and players making money on the stock market. Never heard one of them mention the adverse action this takes on travel, such as: planes, trains, cars, and buses. Do you think this will make their prices go up and affect the amount of traffic? Of course there are those who have to travel for their business and employment. I do believe it will harm them, and affect them adversely. Then of course, we have those who have sufficient funds, that it doesn’t bother them. I don’t believe the owners of Bentleys, Rolls. Porches, and so forth, will suffer too much either.
There are small business owners offering services such as: plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical repair, and so forth. They have to travel distances for their customers to perform their services.
