Social bookmark your posts. SocialPoster.com is the best tool for doing this that I've come across.
List your blog in blog and site directories.
Add your blog to DMOZ.org, which is syndicated on quite a lot of sites.
Comment on other people's blogs.
Join social networks, like Facebook, Friendster, MySpace, etc... #2 will drive this one because, most of the time, you have to be a member in order to post links on these sites.
Set up your RSS feed in FeedBurner.

I recently got inspired to start a series of posts which will also have its own category, About Me. Each post will contain results of quizzes, polls, or surveys I take that give some information about me. I used to do these a lot when I was very active on MySpace. Instead of posting on a regular basis for this category, I'm going to make it interesting by posting spontaneously. The point is to familiarize my readers about who I am. So to begin, here's my first quiz:

Gee, I was kind of surprised by the results, but then again I am quite boyish. I grew up being a tomboy, go figure. Although, the questions in this quiz were totally cliche girly stuff. I got an 8% because I only selected one of the things that girls do; read gossip magazines. Pffft!
