    Brian Williams: Not Guilty, Acquited of DUI

    Earlier today Brian was completely exonerated from any wrongdoing in conjunction with his 2006 DUI arrest. I expected as much, and called it right on. That cop was clearly in no position to prove anything. There was nothing that corroborated the officer's testimony in regards to the arrest, or the now infamous (and most likely imaginary) "Rant". Brian's a stand-up guy and hasn't had a peep of trouble since the alleged incident occurred, which makes it seem all the more like an aberration. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Brian Williams has been found not guilty of drunk driving after a night of partying. The athlete showed no reaction as the verdict was read Thursday. Had he been convicted, he faced up to a year in jail.     Kasey Kahne filed a written plea of not guilty on Thursday which cancels the original arraignment date scheduled for Tuesday. Gillett Evernham Motorsports driver Kasey Kahne has filed a written plea of not guilty to a charge of misdemeanor battery stemming from an alleged pushing incident with a security guard Nov. 16 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The not guilty plea was filed Thursday and cancels the arraignment scheduled for Tuesday. Kahne has hired Richard Sharpstein as his attorney. Sharpstein has been in the news recently as the attorney and family friend of murdered Washington Redskins safety Sean TaylorKahne also faces a civil suit stemming from the incident.     Vick Pleads Not Guilty; Trial to Start November 26th

      The first step for the trial that will prove if Michael Vick is guilty or not is set for November 26th.  Vick, in a Richmond, VA courtroom today plead not guilty to the charges against him.  The Falcons QB was “expressionless” according to those in the courtroom, and when asked his plea, gave a stern announcement of “not guilty.”  He did not speak to the media, but did have a prepared statement read to the media by his attorney - Billy Martin. Vick is accused with three others of conspiracy involving competitive dogfighting, procuring and training pit bulls for fighting and conducting the enterprise across state lines.  The QB along with three others that are charged face up to six years in prison, $350,000 in fines and restitution if convicted of both charges.  Protests by PETA and other animal rights groups have been sparked by the allegations against Vick and the other three.  The scene outside the courthouse was loud once Vick was seen at five minut...
