Conveniently located across the street from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), The Veggie Grill specializes in quickly prepared healthy foods. Their meals are prepared using fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Everything on the menu is vegan, but you wouldn't realize that by just looking at or tasting the delicious foods. Using tempeh, wheat meat, and soy, The Veggie Grill creates healthy reubens, crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, and much more. Our favorites so far are the crispy chicken, the bali bliss, and the island getaway sandwiches. Their lemonade is sweet and tangy and we highly recommend the vegan chocolate chip walnut cookies!The best part is that these healthy meals are rich in protein, minerals, whole grains, and vitamins.
