As my partner said at the sight of this, aren’t 80% of Amman’s homes within walking distance to at least one mosque? So why do the streets become a maze of cars parked in the middle of the streets during the Friday prayer?
I think it is very dangerous, especially as almost every single car parked in any of the buildings within a mile from any mosque gets locked in by another car parked outside. What if an emergency happens to a child living in one of the buildings, and her parents cant get her out because a car is closing their drive way? They may call an ambulance I suppose, but I highly doubt it will fit into the tiny lane left by cars triple parked on both sides of the streets, and if it does, it will have to drive very slowly.
