| | Your Paycheck Will Increase on January 1 | | 2007-12-21 00:00:00 | | Inflation adjustments for tax brackets, exemptions, and deductions will mean that your first paycheck in 2008 will be slightly higher than your last paycheck of 2007, even if your salary remains the same. While the increase this January will not be nearly as large as last January, it will still be noticeable. For a single person earning $50,000 per year (assume all wages/salaries and no adjustments), his federal individual income tax bill under 2007 tax parameters would be calculated as follows: AGI = $50,000Taxable Income = AGI less Standard Deduction ($5,350) and Personal Exemptions ($3,400) = $50,000 - $5,350 - $3,400 = $41,250Income Tax Before Credits = Tax Paid at 10% Rate + Tax Paid at 15% Rate + Tax Paid at 25% Rate = (($41,250 - $31,850) * .25) + (($31,850 - $7,825) * .15) + ($7,825 - 0) * .10) = $2,350 + $3,603.75 + $782.50 = $6,736.25Credits = 0 (we assume no credits)Income Tax After Credits for 2007 tax law = $6,736.25Now for a person earning $50,000 under the | | By: Tax Policy Blog | | |

And add to that has come via air mail from Singapore.Well, well well, times are changing...aren't they? For record, Ashwani Kumar handed over me the unopened letter in the evening yesterday. I don't want to think about why it was not handed over to me soon after the mail arrives (usually at noon).I was about to go to bed when I received it. Went to sleep at that time. In the morning, in front of Keshav Aggarwal and with others possibly listening, I wanted Sawaran Lata to open it and it was an honor for me have it opened by her. Is for INR4039/91... :D(And US Dollar had to weaken at this time only...lols)I am so happy, maybe the winds have begun to change and the chain with which I am bound to this dysfunctional set-up, might be broken by God soonThank you God!Thank you all those people who sent their SMS for publication etc.Well, the money has been primarily earned by http://smsin.blogspot.com and also helped by many others including http://jalandharphotos.blogspot.com ...Maybe, calculated and focused hard work really pays...weehaw!--

| | Stealing Someone’s Paycheck To Make Money. | | 2007-05-20 07:06:19 | | I promise this post isn’t some kind of hillbilly, Social Security check scam, but rather a great contest, (why the heck don’t MY contests work?), from Court over at CourtneyTuttle.com. All you have to do is guess the earnings, within $1, of his blog for the month of May and he will give you his paycheck. Hello. He’s giving away his hard-earned blogging money. This is what you do:
1. Make a guess! Link to his homepage with the text ‘make money online $1.00′, replacing the $1.00 with the amount of your guess. My guess is: make money online $347.60.
2. Leave this link to the rules page intact.
3. Use his contact page to confirm your entry by letting him know (make sure to include the URL of your post)!
Also, a special rule until midnight tonight, May 20th MDT, you will be allowed to make 2 guesses, after this date only 1 guess is allowed. So, let’s see, my second guess is… hmmm… I am so horrible at contests because I never win, but how about, mak | | By: Ramblings Of An Undisturbed Mind | | |
