What do I do when I wake up and it's... a year away from the day my life assumed fairy tale dimensions; Spiderman charging from the worldwide web to rescue me out of a thunderstorm!Well, I'd get up just the same, fire up the computer, delete my internet browser, turn on the DVD player... spend the whole day watching five episodes of Superman, Lois & Clark, Spiderman, Xmen... and pray Batman doesn't emerge from where I shoved it down the bottom of my shelf!I could cue Shrek to play next, except that it inevitably leads to Alex... and Madagascar isn't really a good place for the mind to roam, when you've grown used to floating around in the phantom zone, somewhere between what might have been and what can never be.
