Cut lard or Crisco into flour mixture. Sprinkle 1 tbsp water over the mixture. Gently toss with a fork. Push to side of bowl until all is moistened. Form dough with hands. Roll dough out and place in a 9" pie plate. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.Filling:1 cup of evaporated milk1 cup of Sugar1 cup water1/4 cup butter1 tsp vanilla3 tbsp flour4 egg yolks1 cup fresh coconut flakes2 to 3 sliced bananasIn a saucepan, combine sugar, flour and gradually add milk and water.
